Fine, but his performance is drawn down in the mud by a ****** team... If this is the best we've got for the WHC we should just throw in the towel next time.

I don't think Sedins will come if Canucks are eliminated. They always come up with an excuse for not playing.

what goes on inside mårts head?
he plays eriksson, ericsson and axelsson as a pp unit does he know how loui scores his goals, does he think he is some sniper of some sort?
louie is a garbage scorer but ericsson plays the same game but is worse at it why are they on the same line.

this team has no playmakers on it. it needs an omark, mårtensson or someone like that to run the pp (unless someone comes from nhl).

Three skaters and one goalie.

Mårts is a joke. I simply cannot fathom what he's thinking.

He actually said that mixing up the lines is a sign of panic? Oh my, and I thought we finally had gotten a good tournament-coach when Mårts was appointed.

A guy like Landeskog isn't exactly impressive. Bad last year and bad this year too. What's the deal?

He's been among the better players I think. Mårts should give him a bigger role on this team though.

There's one, but he's about 20 years old...

Lando got concussed by Stuart and has not been the same since. Add the lockout (where he played in Sweden and somehow changed his game a bit) and the usual sophomore slump and you get his current version. Should bounce back next year. I was not a fan of him playing in this WC but it is in Sweden and Landeskog is not the kind of guy to pass on an opportunity like that.
He certainly was not "bad" last year for the Avs. Can not comment on Team Sweden. Maybe his game is not that suited for the bigger rink?

I think Landeskog has been pretty solid in game 2 and 3. He's working hard, he's taking the puck to the net and he's been great on the PK. Imo, Mårts should put him and Loui on the same line. Eriksson hasn't had a real scoring chance inside the slot yet. He's not playing with players that are good enough. Landeskog can give him space with the style he plays, and at least he has some skill.

I was happy when Mårts took over, but now I have no idea what he's doing. By giving Eriksson more PP time, he thinks the rest of his players will panic. Ehrm... What?

I don't think a single player on the team would be against Eriksson getting more time on the PP. If anything, I'd panic because the coach doesn't seem to have a clue which players should play the most.

Loui definitely lacks a playmaker who can give him the puck. Which feels absurd, there has never been a problem distributing the puck on the Swedish national team, it has always been about having troubles then putting it in the net.

Mårts doesn't exactly look like a genius when he plays guys like Johan Fransson on the PP. Did he watch a single game with Luleå? The guy can't hit the side of a barn.

This national team is one of the weakest I've ever seen, Mårts is in danger of being fired and probably should be. Replacing him with Jämtin, fine, but I wouldn't be against giving Rönnberg a shot either.

Scored a weird goal against Belarus.

One of the least appalling out of a somewhat sorry bunch.

The Canucks is out, now watch how the Sedins and Edler get magically injured in the coming days.

I figured the Sedins would be on the next plane to Sweden.

The sedins imo don't deserve to be invited after previous years and they simply arent winners. But even i would take them on this team.

Yeah I can't really say I like the Sedins very much but they have obvious skills and having them on the team would certainly improve our PP tenfold. I would want Edler as well, he can log huge minutes and has a rocket that would also improve our PP.

Get it done Mårts, and for the love of god.. don't fail on us now Canucks... if you're not coming you should not expect to be on the Olympic squad either. By next year we have good enough depth to leave you outside of the team.

Either that or one of the sisters are giving birth again. The other one never can come alone which is kind of pathetic being 32-33 years old.
I swear that if they had'nt been hockey stars they would still be living with their parents.
