D'oh! Marchand up on the first line eh? My GDT rosters are wrong now

Any reason for Lucic's demotion to the third line?

CJ figured if he's not going to shoot the puck, he might as well play on a line that never touches the puck.

Ah, fair enough. Probably because of that big contract that he signed?

unless he removed his brain and replaced it with his contract, i doubt it.

he just needs to shoot the puck, he's still making good passes and hitting, just not shooting the puck

Here's a different opinion : he's paying for Horton being lazy.

I don't think that's it. I don't think Lucic is playing awful or anything, he just needs to shoot the god damned puck. That's it, it's the only thing missing from him IMO.

It happens to a lot of players. They sign a big contract and then they play poorly; either because they feel complacent or because they feel increased pressure to perform because of the big contract and then lose confidence

The way I see this playing out... Claude starts with those lines, Bruins are down 1-0 10 minutes in with one shot on goal and Claude goes back to the old lines... Bruins score 6 unanswered

He's not playing that bad though, he's just not shooting the puck. I think it's between the ears, I just don't think it's due to the contract. He signed it in the summer and he was shooting at the start of the year, but he's stopped.

He could shoot the puck a little bit more but it's not like he gets half the incredible chances Horton gets. Horton doesn't play physical, nor does he work the corners and win battles. It's always Lucic trying to do this so Krejci and him can generate scoring chances for Horton. If Horton stopped floating, Lucic would have more scoring opportunities and hopefully more goals.

I hear what you're saying, but I've seen him in the slot pass to a guy that's going for a line change and other instances where he looks to pass instead of putting it on net.

Trust me, Horton hasn't been good. But they need a shake up. I don't expect it to last long.

Can we have one of those brawl games that brings everyone together? That'd be swell.

Also, I'd love to see no Jay Pandalfo. Free Lane MacDermid!!
