Well that certainly is a difference. I am looking again at the baseball reference splits for Alvarez in the Day/Night. Now I am noticing they only have 136 AB for Night and 95 AB for Day. It doesnt specify any year so I didnt look at the AB originally and just assumed it was cumulative over the career. On there it shows a .779 night OPS and .827 day OPS. It's obviously not complete but that is where I got my numbers from.
