Fair to say every game from here on out is the biggest game in Jets 2.0 history.
If we come out flat tomorrow I'll be very disheartened. There is no excuse for a poor effort tomorrow. We can't afford to have anymore games like the one against the Isles. If the team doesn't bring it tomorrow this team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs.
I think they will come out flying and hopefully pot a couple in the first, but you never know with this team.
My prediction is Pavelec lets in 4 goals and plays terrible the Sabres out suck him and the Jets skate away with a 6-4 win
That would be something. Considering it would be the first time this season we win in regulation after letting in 4 goals. On the other hand, that would mean we give Pavs offensive support (>2 goals), and we're 13-1-0 since February first (16-4-0 total) when that happens.
It would also (correct me if I'm wrong Garret!) be the first time this season we won despite our goaltender playing badly (<90sv%).
So yeah, honestly, I'd be pretty happy to see this team win one despite bad goaltending!
Looking at the Sports Club stats site tonight would really seem to be a water shed night. We currently sit at a 30.1% chance of making the playoffs. But with a Jets win and Caps loss we jump up 12.6% to 42.7%. If we lose and Caps win we drop 17.3% to a 12.8% chance.
