Hurricanes @ Penguins 4/27 7:30PM The Seth Jones Edition

In the wee hours of the morning of April 29th, a wire tap in the office of Carolina Hurricanes general manager Jim Rutherford revealed the following conversation:

A few hours later, the following was found by local authorities in a nearby field. While the exact details are cloudy, it seems as though there was a human sacrifice of Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jamie McBain. There was a message written to the "Hockey Gods" scribed below. The message read as followed: "We have done our meth, now please deliver us our Seth."

These are believed to be the likely suspects.

If anybody has any further information regarding the situation, please contact local authorities immediately as we search for answers.

Jokinen scores four goals, assists on another one by Matt Cooke and fights Ruutu and is named 1st star w/ Gordie Howe Hat Trick.

5-1 loss

FAR more interested in the Jackets-Preds and Panthers-Bolts games tonight, for obvious reasons.

Anyway. Sutter Ovechtrick, make it happen. Any way we can call up John Muse for this? Checkers should be fine with Madore and Murphy.

No idea what Wardo did to Kirk, but he's making him pay dearly for it. Or maybe Cam is just feeling a bit frisky.

@ice_chip... Was told Cam Ward is with Canes for last game. Not supposed to dress.

Last game, of course I will watch the whole match. Probably over around 4 AM, but I'm ready to take that.

5-1 loss. Jussi scores three and Brandon two.

Cam Ward's playing Ned Braden in a Slapshot remake?

Ward simply saw how well Tlusty was playing this year and wanted to try it out.

Gonna be sad tonight regardless if we win or lose. After waiting through that long lockout, I was so happy when the season started. I think the reason this season was the most frustrating, was because we were expecting so much from this team. I am so tired of the whole wait-til-next-season, but what else can I do. I was finished with hockey when they had the lockout and swore I would not watch another game, yet I did. I am a hockey fan and I love the Hurricanes, regardless. I'd just like to have a winning season next year.

Well, you have a picture of a locker room cancer, but I guess you're alright.

Nice GDT to end the season. Wish this wasn't the end already.

Tlusty-E.Staal-LaRose
Ruutu-J.Staal-Westgarth
Wallace-Skinner-Dwyer
Blanchard-Brent-J.Staal

Gleason-Faulk
Sanguinetti-McBain
Bergeron-Corvo

Westgarth on second line, Peters in the net. Muller is pushing all the right buttons for the tank.
