A few hours later, the following was found by local authorities in a nearby field. While the exact details are cloudy, it seems as though there was a human sacrifice of Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jamie McBain. There was a message written to the "Hockey Gods" scribed below. The message read as followed: "We have done our meth, now please deliver us our Seth."
These are believed to be the likely suspects.

Gonna be sad tonight regardless if we win or lose. After waiting through that long lockout, I was so happy when the season started. I think the reason this season was the most frustrating, was because we were expecting so much from this team. I am so tired of the whole wait-til-next-season, but what else can I do. I was finished with hockey when they had the lockout and swore I would not watch another game, yet I did. I am a hockey fan and I love the Hurricanes, regardless. I'd just like to have a winning season next year.
