Super exciting game right to the finish.

One of the few occasions I'm not even that pissed after a loss. I expected 0 pts for this back-to-back. 3/4 is far beyond my expectations.

That and we haven't won a single shootout this year. knew it would be a loss after OT was over.

Too bad there aren't any more T.O. vs. BOS. games. They've become much more exciting this year.

Good night folks!

Peverly also looked good with Lucic and I think Caron probably had his best game tonight.

I think Peverly needs somebody a little more skilled or at least as skilled to shine. I think Lucic needs somebody with speed on his line to push him (Krejci and Horton aren't particularly speedy).

Still loving Dougie's game. I hope that Dougie has broken out with his physical game and keeps it up.

I hope he shows up in the playoffs again, that'd be great, but given what he's shown this year I don't see it.

Not to mention in 2010-11 when he was so snakebit for that good month, month a half, he was hitting people, giving effort, creating chances, etc. He just couldn't seem to finish. Frustrating? Yes, but a completely different situation.
We must be watching different games.

There is a reason we are called the lunatic fringe...

Can we at least agree that these new lines weren't awful tonight? I personally like Krejci with Marchand and Lucic definitely looked better as well..doesn't hurt that he finally punched one in

Just like Saturday kessel was the worst forward on the ice.
Johnson looks good out there. Upgrade over mcquaid.
Good win. Our best game in a while.
Still want that looch krejci seguin line.

When a player is called out for being legitimately terrible it doesn't make him a whipping boy.

Take away their space and they just wilt. I think they'll make the playoffs barring some sort of major breakdown. They work hard, but their goal tending and D are pretty bad and their top forwards are small and soft. Pretty bad when Grabovski is your grittiest forward.

And is it me, or is Kessel getting fatter?

That was a different Horton than we're seeing, sad to say.

I wonder if he hasn't re tweaked the shoulder he hurt going into the boards.

I could see that affecting shotting and puck control.

That dude Komarov is a pretty good hitter. They miss him in the lineup

If they did put him in CJ could have just put Chara in net.

Now do us a favor, take over the division lead and beat the teams below us.

There needs to be more games like this, and less Devils snoozefests.

does biting count as gritty?

kessel rolls up lots of points against teams who aren't attentive on defense. against a good system and physicality, he'd rather shovel a few burgers in his mouth.

He's only had two SO attempts this season and didn't score on either. They're all terrible - Bozak is the only Maple Leaf who's scored in the SO this year; he's 3 for 4. Goose eggs for everyone else.

I would love a Looch, Krejci, Seguin line.

Julien for some reason doesn't (wonder if he worries about the defense) but Seguin's speed is what Looch needs.
