I don't blame him if he did, especially with how awful Toronto is in the SO

Be careful what you wish for, there are no shootouts in the playoffs...

This isn't Ron Wilson's team.

9-1 in the last 10 games vs the Leafs.

I'm sure the Bruins would do OK.

Let's keep in mind here that none of the games Boston and Toronto played were blowouts, Toronto hung in there in all of em.

I'd rather drop down to 6th and get the winner of the crummy Southeast then the Leafs

It's okay big guy, your team played really well and not everybody can win.

+1 for killing Montreal, especially Paciorretty.
Likewise. Leafs fans always come in here after games regardless of outcome and for the most part respectful. As a Mod I've always appreciated it. This last Montreal Boston game was a ****storm.

I for on am a little more worried when we play you guys now. This year, even though we've had the better track record, somethings different. Our divison has always been so hotly contested and I only expect it to continue.

Not scared at all, i'm just saying don't underestimate them.

Carlye has made quite the living off of taking low seeded teams and turning them in to dream crushers.

The physical style the Leafs play now is built for the playoffs

Totally agreed with the bolded, though. In spite of the very mediocre play by virtually the entire team this season, the B's are tied for the 4th most amount of points in the league, and people will still whine about what the team should be doing instead of what they're actually doing. Something similar happened a few weeks back, when someone was pushing for the B's to emulate what Tampa Bay does - the same TB that's 14th in the conference and recently fired their HC.

It's like people see the one second of what's directly in front of them and forgets the countless other moments in the game/season.
For future reference, game sheets are at nhl.com; just click on the boxscore for the game, and there's a list on the right side with game summary, TOI, faceoff summary, play-by-play, etc.

Just in from the game.

So happy that Looch scored. All the guys on the bench and behind the bench were thrilled too. Looked like the weight of the world (a fellow B's fan said this on the "T" after the game) was lifted from his shoulders.

Bergy !!!

Also good to see Tuukka win that shootout.

The ride home wasn't bad at all.

Now go beat those Habs !!!

Good NIght B's fans !

I guess some folks just need something to complain about.

What i'm saying is people seem to think we can just crush Toronto like we have in the past couple years when that simply isn't the case.

Toronto comes to play now against Boston, i still feel we'd win a playoff series but to say it would be a cakewalk is absurd

no excuse not to beat the smurfs in a ROW on wed since they'll be coming in from back to backs against Pitt.

They're better than they were for sure.

Zero playoff experience. I remember another guy that once pissed off Chara. They now name parts of the rink after him.

Leafs fans can't be feeling good with Reimer in net, and once we get our offensive mojo back (maybe with a little help from Chia) then we'll bestride the NHL like a colossus. This is NOT the team we'll be icing for the playoffs.

The Bruins had five shots at the Toronto net in OT; two were Reimer saves, two missed, and one was blocked. Toronto had four shots at the net; three were Rask saves; one was blocked. Heck, one of those Bruins shots was a wraparound try by Chara; what's he doing that deep in the zone in OT? Is that "playing not to lose"?

And in the final 30 seconds of OT, with a faceoff in the defensive zone, any coach with a brain is going to have the Selke winner and a great PKer on the ice together.
