While AA still needs to round out his game, he is clearly 'the guy' in Columbus. Everyone looks to him to make plays and generate offense.

Yeah. A <.50ppg player is "incredible." Give me a break. Ani was a solid player. Nothing more, nothing less.

Just curious, was Anisimov a top 6 player for you guys? He seems to be meshing with the Jackets better than Nash ever did.

Anisimov was always ultra talented and has lots of potential. I honestly miss him the most. He would have been perfect as our 3rd line center instead of J.Turnover Miller.

To be honest, I liked the balance between offence and defence in Anisimov's game. I never saw super stardom for him, and seeing what he did defensively, I liked him very much. There was no disappointment for me, except a bit when he was traded. Feds, Dubi, Erixon - I liked Fedorov, and always will.

Brandon Prust? Different story. I guess hindsight is 20/20, but Montreal Canadiens stood to gain a whole lot more from having Prust than the Rangers thought they would, at that cost. You have to realize how spineless the Habs were. They could hardly believe that they actually could buy spine.
The bad part is that I never thought the good business decision to not keep bidding for Prust's services once it got silly, would hurt so much because nobody really has a keen desire to fight and stick up for their buddy. Don't blame me for not expecting that.
People pointed at Bickel as being that guy. Where the **** was he when McDonagh got his face slammed into the glass by that a-hole Pacioretty? I believe Bickel was skating that night, was he not? Not a peep from the so-called guy who has your back.
So very happy that that waste of a Rangers jersey is gone.

He started off very poorly, but he is clearly the CBJs most talented and complete forward on a team with many 2-way hardworking forwards. His point totals don't reflect that because of severe injury early this year and snakebitten. He'll be 60-70pt 2-way player in the future. His flaw is that he plays lethargic at times.

Well, watching him here in the west, he's definitely turned a corner. He's Columbus's best forward by a fair margin (which is not a hard task exactly) but he gives it 110%, using his size, and I did not know he had that much natural skill. He looks like an easy top 6 C on any team right now.

He moved around the lineup through most of his tenure. He'd see regular top six minutes, have a few quiet games, then find himself on the bottom lines. Consistency was always his downfall here. There was never any denying the raw talent though.

Anyone catch Kyle Keefe lose it on the broadcast when he accidentally said "penis" on the air? It was kinda funny.

Seriously, I cannot understand the obsession and romanticizing of these guys. I liked Prust a lot, but hindsight boohooing is so useless.

Watching Sportscenter and they played highlights from the Pens game yesterday. They showed a shot of Malkin sitting on the bench, and I kid you not, the guy on Sportscenter said, "There's the newest Penguin, Jerome Iginla"

I just want to shoot myself in the head when I watch ESPN try to cover hockey.

So Tom Kostopolous is getting a penalty shot.

And he scores. 2-0 Debbies.

What a play by Nate Thompson. Bolts' player flipped a past into the o-zone, and Thompson beat two Devils' players to the puck, got past them and scored, 2-2.
