don't think he's better than anyone in the Pens top-9, outside of Kennedy, and I think Kennedy is gone within the week.

If Shero is done why would he move Kennedy? I mean he adds depth like it or not and he can walk this summer. Might as well keep him, I doubt anyone comes knocking and offering a 2nd for him.

I've never said I thought Shero is done.

Only 12:30. we still have about 3 hours to acquire Iginla.

I hope it's not another scoring fest 7-6 win though. I'd love to see this defensive play continue all the way to the cup!

Does complaining about Bylsma's truly awful taste in hats count as GDT talk?

Because if so, Dan needs to peruse this site:http://youshouldntwearthatfedora.tumblr.com/

I've been hating on Kennedy extremely hard all year but he keeps scoring these clutch goals, especially against Philly.

Which won't mean a thing to us since Philly isn't making the playoffs.

What I like about these deadline moves is something we can compare to last season. We looked great last season and Sid was coming on board. At the end we fizzled out and didn't play so well. We dropped back-to-backs against the Isles and then got the dramatic embarrassing Flyers series.

I think the additions will help us stay the course even though there will be a few games of growing pains to understand the system/chemistry.

He lost what made him so valuable and that is winning battles. I still think he's one hell of a 4th liner.

People might be shocked when our 4th line was Satan, Dupers, and Adams in the 09 playoffs. That's not a line full of hard hitters. So TK could produce good 6-7 minutes and play for another contract (for another team).

I wouldn't count them out yet. Some good chokers are still left in the eastern conference.

Short season = anything can happen. It's VERY much not likely, but you never know.

I'll admit, I'm curious to see what Morrow can do. I ate a lot of crow for the Guerin trade (I thought he was going to be an abject failure), so I'm more cautious about waiting to see how this turns out. Hopefully Morrow is more along the lines of Roberts/Guerin than say, Kovalev, in his playoff performance.

I'm psyched to see Morrow in the line up. . . It seems like Malkin should have been back right now. Is this something that's more serious than we thought, or is he just getting some added rest before the postseason?

I thought the 7-6 game was Fleury, it was Vokoun.
My bad on that one.
But it still is, in my opinion, the "weakness" in the organization.
The rest looks good to me.

Good luck tonight, and hopefully it's a good game

If any team makes a run from the bottom of our conference I'd expect it to be Tampa Bay. Honestly I'm not even concerned about Philly even if they do make the playoffs. Unlike last year when they'd get in our heads they just don't have that same ability.

That is my opinion.
Fleury is good, do not get me wrong. It's just that he seems to have a hard time against some teams specifically (ie: Flyers, Habs especially).
Unluckily for the Pens, those are the teams they've ran into lately in the playoffs.

On the other hand, if that is your weakness, then this team is set.
Hope for the best, and good game tonight.

I hope for a Habs win
Depends on who you mean by "we." I have seen that sentiment around the boards more times than I can count on both hands and both feet, and I don't even stray from the Pens forum all that much.

Usually, I watch the game the next day after work, but I have to see this game live. 4 hours sleep should be enough.

"We" as in part of the Habs fanbase.
Personally, Fleury is very good when he's on his game.
When he's not, it's a bit scary to see those odd goals go in.

But all in all, pretty solid IMO.

Probably added rest and keeping an extra roster spot open for now. After April 3rd, there's no roster limit so I'd expect to see him back definitely.
