Worst period of hockey I've seen from Gagner all year. Needs to smarten up out there.

Kidline had a reasonable period. Hopefully they get on a roll.

Khabi is keeping us in the game right now. We need to generate more chances.

That Tarasenko chance was a beauty though. Glad Khabi saved it, but man wicked chance.

A maddening play was seeing Stewart carry the puck into the zone, skate through and by 4 Oilers and start the cycle behind the net. It shouldn't be that easy.

Glad we're leading, but we need to generate some more chances.

i thought Oilers showed some good coverage defensively. Two chances where they were beaten Khabi bailed them out, but that's what a decent goalie should be able to do. at least we converted one of the scarce chances, and in a brilliant way, so i'm content with this, carry on!

Why does it seem like all of our breakout passes are to forwards standing still facing their own end?

Hard to gain the zone when you aren't receiving those passes in stride.

RNH has unreal possession skills. Everytime he has the puck in the offensive zone he is able to keep in control of the puck and find a pass/play. Hall is the opposite and makes some boneheaded passes. He has all the speed in the world and a great shot but his dekes are broken up way to easy.

Once RNH works on balance/speed like Gags did in the off season I think hell be unreal.

When RNH and Ebs were (and still) going through there slumps I though RNH was still playing good hockey and not making any outstanding errors. The pucks just werent going in. Ebs was playing baaad hockey tho

Nice GDT!

Not a terrible period but not great either. I felt the Blues had the better chances, Habbi playing good.

Nice Goal by Ebs, more of a Defensive breakdown, lucky goal than anything. But hey, a goal is a goal.

1-0 after 1.

Sooo....more of the same with the exception of a lucky lead? Shots are 8 to 4 in favour of St. Louis?

Oh and Mike Brown and Lennart Petrell trailing only Sam Gagner in forward ice time.

Over 5 minutes for petrell and brown each?

The joke just keeps getting better. I feel like we're getting punk'd.

Interestingly they had fewer shifts than every other line but their shifts were extremely long.

They did get pinned down in their own end a couple times to their credit.
