Well, this is the first Rangers game I'm listening this season. And it sounds like things haven't changed that much since last season. First thing I hear when I tune in is Mironov giving the puck away in the neutral zone resulting in a breakaway for Columbus. Then Simon takes a penalty and the Jackets score...
Oh well, it's only pre-season

It's Bobo/Lampman, Kaspar/Purinton
I love the call by the CBJ announcer. "GIVEAWAY BY MIRONOV!!!" Ah yes, it IS Ranger season again.

Darryl Sydor, what a great pickup by the BJs. Why couldn't we have gotten him instead of DeVries?

Instead? Greg de Vries is the least of the Rangers problems. He's done nothing to not merit a contract from us. All positives from de Vries.

Nash with the PPG as Simon takes another penalty.

Simon's penalties have both led to PPG's.
If Sather has any balls or any need for respect, I expect to hear about a benching of Simon for maybe the rest of the period.

2 minors and he's still logged more TOI than Moore, Rosier and Carter.
Get ready for kill #3. Cross check.

Wrong. The blame shall fall on Lundmark for not getting involved enough and on Moore for not producing enough goals. Simon will get a permanent spot in the lineup with this performance. Hockey Sure Is Different Here.

Cross-checking by DeVries. Great play by "one of the best defensive-defensemen in the NHL".

Discipline?

Might be. Since some reports said that the Rangers haven't practised special teams at all so far in camp....
