I was more surprised with the fact that he didn't call a timeout in the last minute with a tired group out there.

This team is not like last years team. So different and while will complain they win ugly and get outshot and shouldn't win games but you know what they just win

Winning in buff, taking3/4 points from Boston, winning this trap game are all things last years team couldn't do.

Folks it may not be pretty but when they get into the playoffs no one will care about style points

Wasn't pretty, but found a way to win.

Lupul was outstanding. He avoids getting himself suspended and he can really produce out there.

Leafs made people worried, but we got the points. Every win is critical and they just have to keep on going.

I really hope Nonis brings in a solid top 3 d-man for the playoff run before the trade deadline!

I'd love to see Lupul as Leafs captain!

I wonder how all the people demanding Gardiner be brought up feel now? He's still a kid and could be facing the sophomore slump so keeping him down on the Marlies for some tutelage under Eakins was probably be the best thing for him, and might still be.

Gardiner at his worst, is someone we still need in the lineup arguably more than anyone else in our D.

This feels like a game we would lose in past years.

I'll never understand this. Its like coaches get paid for every timeout they can save.

Wow, I just realized how important the next slate of games are (With exception to Ottawa, strangely enough). If we do find a way to beat Carolina, we will be 10 points ahead of them (But they will have 3 games in hand on us). If we don't, the gap is 6, with them having, again, 3 games in hand.

Next game will be huge.

Had my doubts about this one. Arrived late this morning..you'd expect them to be sluggish all game. Good bounce back and glad it was the captain PHANEUF that woke them up.
