I agree. We got what back for him? The rights to some guy who was never coming back to north america at all?

The way Hall is playing, he is going to get himself targeted bigtime, and potentially have his career cut short because of someone retaliating in a particularly violent manner.

Yep, not Khudobin. Would much rather have gotten a draft pick for him rather than some "prospect" who never even gave us the time of day.

I agree, it's not as if he's a tough guy either who could take a cheap shot and keep going.

I disagree. I think it's hilarious watching preteens defend a dirty play like that.

Awwwww. . . . no more fun for me in that thread.

But riling up Oil fans is so amusing.

I just can't believe Oilers fans cheering on Taylor Hall for tomahawking a guy in the back not to mention their inability to admit it was a dirty play.

I love a chance to show how crazy those fans are, pretty hilarious. I'm really starting to hate Taylor Hall so I couldn't help it.

That was a brutal play. Brutal. Edmonton fans disgust me. How can you defend something like that?

Bravo Hanzal.

Wish he would have hit him dead center in the chest and knocked him clear into the neutral zone tho.

Oh well, it's a start.

Hopefully the rest of the league starts doing the same to the little punk.

I honestly think someone should just Ion Cannon Edmonton from the orbit. And Forssa, while they're at it.

Seeing Oilers fans try to defend that is just hilarious to me, but also not surprising at all.

Is Hall not getting suspended for that? i have seen nothing mentioned about him having a hearing. IMHO this is his second incident he needs to go for season at least. What a ****ing *******, i mean its one thing to be upset at a guy but to endanger his career is just plain stupid.

Thats the kind of **** they teach in Canada tho, Bobby Clarke and all.

And yes, Hall now officially has the dirty player tag

Because Hall is a 1st overall pick and a "superstar". As I said earlier this season when he tried to kill Brodin, the only difference between Taylor Hall and Matt Cooke is the draft pick.

Wow, just saw that. I'd give him 10 games easy. Second offense this year. What a piece of crap.

I have noticed this too and I really don't like it. I assume it's because Leipold got burned with Radulov in Nashville? Whatever the reason, it narrows the talent pool available for no good reason. Yes, the KHL factor is real, but each player is an individual so this kind of sweeping indictment is silly and hurts this franchise in the long term.

Pierre Lebrun was asked today in his live chat if Hall was going to be the first in-person hearing with Shanaban. The questioner called Hall a dirty player.

Lebrun's only response was "we dont know yet".

I hope Hall gets punished for this ****. Its ridiculous. And if the league actually does just turn their shoulder it will be beyond embarrassing.
