only thing that bothers me with this team is that they don't protect team mates when one of them gets dirty hit. good example is spurgeon hit in this game. nobody went for vermette to give some punches....but then again...why risk upcoming PP

Not a pretty game, but good teams always find a way to win! Nice to see the guys keeping up!

It has to be Suter.

Weber benefited from playing with Suter before, now he benefits from playing with someone Preds fans call a Suter clone.

Now Brodin is benefiting from playing with Suter, and Suter is benefiting from playing with what some call a Suter clone.

Therefore Suter is clearly the best defenseman in the game.

I think Gorg does a good job with the instructionals. It might be his best segment on FSN. That said, what kid is up at 11 p.m. to watch it?

Assuming of course that Anaheim loses tonight. They're down 4-0 halfway through the 3rd so it's a pretty good bet that they lose.

It's some weird math, but it works so who am I to judge.

We outshout our opponent. We outchance our opponent and nobody seems satisfied with the win. I like that.

I haven't screamed at a game like that in a while. Good grief. And have not seen so many prime scoring opportunities for two teams that they failed to capitalize on. I think Koivu finally just said, "Screw this, I want to go home."

They were bad defensively in Dallas, and they didn't look too good tonight especially facing a team on a major losing streak. We need a strong, more consistent game in Dallas on Friday. We can't start getting sloppy defensively. Gilbert looked brutal! Tighten it up before it becomes a bad habit. Backs NEEDS Friday off. There are some big tests coming up again. This is the one chance for a break for the guy.

Wasn't pretty, but the difference is that this team is now more resilient. It's fun to watch even though it's creating lots of gray hairs.

Good to see the top players getting it done. And nice to also hear Yeo wasn't happy with their play tonight. Gotta step it up. But 2 points is 2 points.

Koivu could make his own Harlem Shake video with those thrusts.
