Beer Prices??

Was wondering what a beer cost in your house... Good lord... In Houston it's $7.50 now... Needless to say I gave up beer at the games awhile back...

$6.50, but then I saw a guy pay $3.50 for a bottle of water and I didn't feel so bad.

Man these prices are amazing. Me and my dad went to a Habs game last season and he paid 6.50$ for one beer. After one he decided it was enough.

Imagine if gasoline had that markup...

I use to like to have one beer during the first period and then another during the second. Two years ago I pulled the plug on beer in the Toyota Center (Toilet Bowl).

That is insane. I tend not to buy anything at games. I bring my own stuff and before I go in I have something. I was actually wanting some water at a game and saw $3 for a 20 oz. bottle. Insane. I can get likea liter for a buck. Overpricing is just horrible.

I tell ya... For me... When the Aeros moved out of the old barn into this, this... Toilet Bowl... Things have gone to hell in a handbasket. They are forcing fans into the expensive seats. I hate the place, but if you want to see some live pro hockey, not much you can do...

I have been going to Predator's games since their inception in Nashville, and beer prices have been escalating every season. Back in 1998, it was $5.25 for a large beer(which is a 24 ounce poured straight from a can into a large plastic cup right in front of you, and it's not even draft!!) to the end of last season where it was $7.50 (still a 24 ounce can), but if you get a draft beer it seems to be in a tiny glass that contains no more than say 6 ounces, and it alone costs $3.50 The sad thing is, here in Tennessee at most gas stations, a 24 ounce can costs about 1.75, and that's for the premium beers not even the cheap beers. It's insane how much teams make off of concessions, which leads me to wonder, what exactly is a teams cut on concessions??

When the Ads played here back in October, the beerstand price read either $8 or $8.25!

I think at the All-State Arena in Chicago (haven't had a beer at the games yet) it's around 4 bucks at a Wolves game...I know at the Cubs game the other day it was up to 7.50. There is also a concert venue out near Chicago that charges almost 9 bucks for a regular sized plastic cup...and the funny part is, people pay it

Wilkes-Barre Scranton's prices just went up 50 cents to $5.25 for a 16 ounce draft.

Best investment i ever made was a 2L camel back jerseys hide humps on your back pretty well

This means you can have whatever beer or spirits you want at a game

I hate to see what it will be once the NHL comes back and the Preds play again. I will have to take out a small loan just for the concessions!!!

heres something you may all laugh at its more so in regards gas prices but nevertheless its still kinda appropriate when you compare extortion of one product to another!!!

Compared with Gasoline, think a gallon of gas is expensive?

This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective.

Diet Snapple
16 oz $1.29 ....... $10.32 per gallon

Lipton Ice Tea
16 oz $1.19 ......$9.52 per gallon

Gatorade
20 oz $1.59 .... $10.17 per gallon

Ocean Spray
16 oz $1.25 ......... $10.00 per gallon

Brake Fluid
12 oz $3.15 ............ $33.60 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil
6 oz $8..35 ... $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol
4 oz $3.85 .... $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout
7 oz $1.39 ....... . $25.42 per gallon

Scope
1.5 oz $0.99 $84.48 per gallon

And this is the REAL KICKER...

Evian water
9 oz $1.49...........$21.19 per gallon?!

$21.19 for WATER - and the buyers don't even know the source. (Evian
spelled backwards is Naive.)

So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on
water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid Pepto Bismal or Nyquil.

Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your next trip to the pump...
