Its a story all on its own. There are little connections that they hint at throughout the game but you're missing nothing in terms of story. You're just doing yourself a disservice by not playing Bioshock since its an amazing game! Those little connections really added something for me but are not essential to immersing yourself in the world of Columbia.

Interesting. I might do that then -- play Bioshock then grab Infinite once the price goes down. I haven't been able to get immersed in a game so thoroughly since Mass Effect.

Oh, cool cool cool. I'll add it to my ever-expanding list of game to play. Still need to beat Arkham City.

There was a deal on Amazon not too long ago where you could buy Spec Ops: the line (heart of darkness game) for 20$ and get Bioshock 1 and 2 with it for free.

I personally don't know how the story goes in this newest release, but regardless, I HIGHLY recommend getting through the first two. They're both great games. I'd say both games are in the top 50 console games released in the past decade.

I could never get into the first bioshock. I just wasn't feeling it at all.

Take your time with it too. Make sure you absorb every detail, every voxophone, every little conversation NPCs are having and most definitely take in any song you might hear.

My digital copy came with a copy of BS1 and 2. Gonna replay those immediately.
Absolutely! It's one of the best game I have ever played. I'm doing a second playthrough right now. Somehow it's even better than the first time you play it. Legendary game.

Are stores generally open today? I can't find any info on if the BestBuy here is open today or not since it's Easter Monday.

Went to chapters today and it was open. Most stores won't close 2 days in a row.

How long does it take for places hiring to respond to applications?

Jesus P. Christ, you'd think at least one of my applications would have resulted in a response.

Oftentimes, they don't even respond.

(Side note: I know a Jesus. H. Christ. Any relation?)

Unfortunately, most places don't have the class to respond if you didn't get the job.

Manked, jobs are way harder to get when your a uni student who's only moving back for the summer, vs one who's in Ottawa (and therefore available) year round.

I think most student-friendly employers don't have the time to get back to every person who applies for a job. Has very little to do with class.

Sounds rough. How're you pulling that off?

I'm doing 3,200 a day but with healthy foods. Need to bulk up.
