So many aberrations in player performances this year. Just like the 06 season

Neutral honest question ... If offensive stats in the east are taken with a grain of salt, then should goaltending stats in the west be given the same treatment?

Well, Detroit joins us in the suckage department. 3 goals on 5 or 6 shots, in a span of 2 minutes.

Weird.

Happened to Detroit, Vancouver and Nashville in one week.

Also happened to the oilers vs the sharks earlier.

Why does he have to go show up our coach like that?

Has AV ever taken responsibilities when the Canucks stink up the joint?

Nope.
"You just gotta give credit where credit is due... they're a real strong team with a real good work ethic and they're tough to play against."

Do interview quotes actually mean anything? I'm thinking no.

Every team has a night where they stink up a joint, and we had ours yesterday.

But one of the hallmarks of the win streak we just had was that we scored first.

This team consistently this season, has not been able to play from behind. They open it up but just get scored on more, particularly by speedier teams. That's a worrying trend and one that's exhibited by other "pretender" teams like StL and Nashville this season.

And of course, the PP. That's inexcusable and inexplicable.

Agreed. I don't anticipate any deals on Easter and think that most will be announced tomorrow. I also don't think there will be any big deals until Wednesday.

Pierre Maguire said Crosby has a broken jaw during the Red Wings - Hawks broadcast.

Big news.

Hopefully not for our sake, but it would be nice to show the fans he holds the team accountable when they play bad like every other coach does.

We know he holds the team accountable and certainly the goaltending. Does he hold himself accountable? Certainly not the impression I get.

Yea thats very true and a good point, when i said the team I meant more so everyone including the coaching staff, but that a very valid point, he certainly loves to point to our goaltenders. He calls it good goal tending and says it is needed to win games, i call it unreasonable expectations (1 goal or less against every night).

Big news.
It's an accident...
But at this rate...
We will be seeing out first armoured hockey player...
Or bubble wrapped.

Broken jaw is not a big deal anymore...
Usually people wear a mouth mask over it.

He got torched for admitting they didn't do a good enough job getting the team ready to play without Daniel.

Was last night really AV's fault? Garrison read the play poorly and pivoted the wrong way on the first goal, Higgins played himself out of position on the second and the puck went right through Schneider, 2 guys in good position let Hall blow right past them on the third and Lu was soft on the post on the 4th.

What of that was AV's fault?
