I'm really starting to believe we could do damage in the playoffs. This team is built for a playoff type environment.

Rangers board is not pleased. At least most of them are pretty reasonable about things. Only saw one guy calling Ottawa a bunch of third line talentless scrubs.

Excellent win!

I never understood this. If the other team is a bunch of terrible scrubs, yet your team lost to them, doesn't that make your team even worse?

great game. some thoughts.

- o'brien and benoit shouldn't be sitting for a while
- lats - zib - silf line was money
- hoffman looked pretty good. better than kreider that's for sure.
- gryba was uneven at best. lots of turnovers. he seemed to lackadaisical
- bishop was great, you gotta start him again next game

I'm not too worried.

Yes, all of our goalies have been playing amazing, but at the same time, the system MacLean employs allows goalies to look very good. We allow a lot of shots, but most are from bad angles and aren't the greatest quality.

I don't envision either of Bishop or Anderson getting the same stats on another team with a different system.

In old goalie news, Elliott sent to the AHL for "conditioning" stint.

THAT was our starting goalie...

We might be pretty good at forcing shots to the outside (or at the very least better than last year), but our goalies are also putting up amazing (and probably unsustainable) SV% on shots from in close as well.

A little from column one, a little from column two.

Anderson is UFA in 2 years, we have Bishop at least for next year, and Lehner we hold his rights for a long time. Wish we could somehow keep all of them.

One guy could not believe that Stralman got a penalty for tripping Hoffman.
