Auntie Niemi served the Red Wings a nice steamy pot of shutout.

Wow, the team looks GOOD out there! Including Clowe! Who I say never really looked that BAD, just really tripping over his own ...

Where the hell is everybody? Nobody made a GDT and a game against the Wings gets less posts than a game against Florida? This is the 2nd to last game against the Wings before they move to the EC.

Red Wings never really had any dangerous chances until the 3rd period, but that I attribute more to Sharks fatigue. Also the Sharks obviously pressed less and took less risks after the second goal which meant more Wings possession.

Good thing we won because those highlights of Datsyuk almost literally stickhandling couture out of his jock twice would have been ten times worse ending in goals

More like:

Roll four effective lines.

Three commanding wins in a row.

Having Pavs run the third is the recipe for success, it's what got the team to the conference finals the last time. And Gomez as a fourth line center is about as good as it gets in the league. At least, if you want to create an offensive fourth line.

I really don't want us to trade Clowe... And we need to keep playing like this... Hawks will be a huge test...

Sheppard is a really good 3rd liner already, but the fact that we have a 1st line wing/2nd line C centering the third line and a 2nd line tweener/3rd line center playing on the fourth line is great depth. He's also playing with Gomez on the fourth line so technically we don't even run a traditional checking line anymore.

No one is getting fourth line minutes anymore either. No point in messing with a lineup that is producing.
