Nice job TP.

Need another 2 points tonight to keep pace.

I'll be there tonight in section 102.

LGI!

Another MUST win! I believe the Rag$ will beat Ottawa @ Scotia Bank, so the Isles will be four out if they lose... Philly is fragile got to get em. Lets Go Isles, which are still 60%+ to not make the playoffs according to playoffstatus.com.

Doing a "Playoff Push" Parlay Isles +115 and Ott -115...

Philly is just as good at home as the Isles are on the road, check the stats. Should be a good one

I sure as heck hope I'm wrong, but this has all the ingredients to be another one of those classic 'let down' games.

An Isles win tonight would be humangus big

Will the Islanders ever win 3 games in a row?

Wow, Gervais is on the top line for the Flyers. He might be our best player tonight.

Forgot to mention this, put Cizikas as a 3rd line center already with Grabner and McDonald.

The "1st" line really needs to be broken up. I know weve won 2 in a row so there's no chance Cappy changes any thing, espically with JT scoring the winner, which is now an excuse to keep them together. I just checked the game logs on hockey reference and Moulson has scored 1 even strength goal in 28 games. 1!. And he has just 4 overall 5on5. Boyes has 4 in his last 21, one of which was an empty net and the other a lucky bounce in Florida. That's crazy bad for two "1st line wingers". We wonder why JT has hit a slump again, and I have to think it has to do with these two who are not only nancys on the ice, but aren't even chipping in with goals to justify keeping that line together. If Cappy wants to keep tyhat line as his #1 PP(even thou Boyes turns the puck over like crazy on the PP) I can deal, but 5 on 5, JT needs some better, stronger linemates.
If I saw JT playing with Cizikas and Martin I'd be happier then seeing Boyes and Moulson. Even thou CC and MM aren't really scorers, Boyes and Moulson has proved that this season, 5on5, they aren't either. At least maybe throw some size on JT's wings or try Grabner. Just try something different, cause this aint working.

Another must-win for the Isles. Really, I am more excited for this game than any I have been in a long time.

I still don't think the Isles will make the playoffs, but it is a legit possibility at this point.

+1
Like it or not the JT line looked like our teams 4th line on Tuesday. As soon as they were on the ice, the puck was pushed into our zone and was kept there until they changed.

I hate to say it, but the Isles lose this one. For that matter, so do the Rangers, Carolina and Buffalo, just to keep this stalemate in the Eastern Conference going. We'll still be just 2 points out!

With Reasoner out and the top line having issues, here is what I would like to see:

Moulson - JT - Bailey (Bailey is more responible and creative)
Grabs - Nielson - McDonald (Speed, Defense, and Grit)
KO - Zeeker - Boyes (KO and Zeek make up for Boyes D failures)
Boulton - Aucoin - Martin (Hate to see Martin on 4th line, maybe move to 2nd for Mcdonald)

Yea lets put the best forward for the past 7-8 games on the 3rd line, makes sense.

If we are going to mix up the lines (and we should), how about reuniting Martin-Cizikas-McDonald? That line was everything you could hope for from an energy line, and neither the new 3rd or 4th line has been anywhere near as good.

Its about the combination of players on the line, not the individual. KO has had some good games over the last 5 or so, but it is a big stretch to say he has been the best forward on the team. There is also the issue of blending across lines - unfortunately the Isles are not the Pens and don't have 3 lines that could be our 1st.

Opinions are just that, you may not agree, but it doesn't make someone elses any less valid.

That would probably mean a 4th line consisting of Boulton, Aucoin and Grabs...

I would normally agree with this (loved that line as a 3rd), but with the addition of Boulton, what do you with him and who else drops to the 4th line? Boyes?

Didn't say, but given his poor performance in the last game, healthy scratch is my call. Or can we start the "he is scratched because there is a trade in place" talk!
