Opinions are just that, you may not agree, but it doesn't make someone elses any less valid.
Ummm no it's not a big stretch to say he's been the best forward for the past 7-8 games. I love McDonald on the 4th line, he should be no where near the 2nd line.

Except that it's Marty Reasoner, so who the hell would bother trading for him?

Personally, I agree with McDonald on the 4th (after I posted the line up I looked at that and Martin on 4th and knew that was a mistake).

The problem with moving KO up is that we all know that MM is going to stay with JT, not worth even thinking about changing that. Grabs impact to the game is greater than KO's at this point, as shown when he was out. He just makes teams adjust to his speed and it changes their approach. if KO could play on the other wing, that would give more options, but I just don't see the sense now that he is showing improvement as is.

Somebody who is looking for a warm body at a very cheap price(7th rounder? or even waivers) to give themselves depth

Was joking - thought the sarcasm pic was implied. and i wouldn't be surprised to see him moved for a pick to a team looking for depth in faceoff/penalty kill.

You don't have to move KO up, he should stay on the 2nd line. The biggest problem is Boyes and a lack of a top line Right Winger. I really like the Bailey-Nielsen-Okposo line right now. I would really like to keep Bailey and Okposo on the same line because the play very well together.I wanted to move Bailey up to the top line, but Grabner-Nielsen-Okposo weren't playing to well, who knows maybe they will play good again together.

At this point anything for Reasoner would be fine. I would take a late rounder. You have to figure at some point over the next few weeks, at least one of Joensuu, Lee or Strome will be joining the roster so we will need the spot (the latter two after their season ends). Unless we are making some other trade, either Reasoner or Aucoin will have to go.

and btw I asked in a threat yesterday but didnt see a response Is JJ technically still suspended and not getting paid at all even though he has been traveling and skating with the team for 2 or 3 weeks?

Edit: forgot we have only 1 extra forward for now, so if we only make one move we might need to move a D off the 23 man roster not a forward

The team has shown they can compete with almost anyone. Heres to hoping this team is finally learning how to win and the 3rd period (and 2nd period) collapses are behind us (consistancy please).

These lines.

Why not split up AMac and Hamonic? They look terrible in the D-zone.

Weird game tonight and hard to choose who to root for. Carolina vs Toronto. There is a longshot chance Toronto collaspes and we can catch them(we 7 points behind with a game in hand), on the flip side Carolina is one point behind us but with two games in hand on us, we really need them to lose

Obviously we're keeping Reasoner out of the lineup since we're most likely working on a deal with some Eastern Conference powerhouse that needs to counter the Iginla trade

Martin is not a top-6 player...just stop it. Breaking up our extremely productive second line is a terrible idea.

Well I understand being apprehensive Cappy, but this would give us some sort of grit on all 4 lines mixed with speed and scoring touch.
Bottom line is you could put lipstick on a pig, its still a pig. They are all the same players but this might give us some contribution from all four lines

I know Martin is not a top 6 forward...Neither is Boyes, Neilson, Okposo, Bailey, Grabs etc. Someone has to play in that slot....unless of course your fine with the output of Boyes in the last few games?

Thanks for the GDT Truman.

Love that Reasoner is sitting. I would like to see Grabs on Tavares' wing instead of Boyes, just for one game. I know it's happened before and didn't necessarily "work", but anything is better than the way that top line(Boyes) played last game.

This game is an automatic loss if they don't throw the body for 60 full minutes. Even then it may not matter because the girl scouts in the top 6 don't match up against physical teams. Here's hoping Philly takes the game off.

Don't laugh, but I made this comment in another post.

Would it be too crazy to suggest Streit be moved to RW? I think he would do great on that line and takes some of the puck play off of Tavares.

Boyes can fall to second and play with Nielsen and McDonald

Expecting the worst at all times haha...

I saw on twitter that the isles have yet to win three in a row this season, well how's the time to make it happen!!

Your idea is pretty interesting, but I don't see it ever happening, definitely not this season.

I HATE your second line, atrocious line right there.
