It was "Mission 16W" for Bourque.
Now it's "Mission 16L" for Jones.

I think the boys will start the game on time tonight. They will grind it out, put shots on net and get some good bounces. They've been holding their sticks a little tight but you know, sometimes they create their own luck. I definitely think that our best players will be our best players, and the refs will call the game in a fair manner.

There we go, all the possible excuses for losing and a few cliches have all been utilized and taken care of. I think the Burgundy-Blue take this one 4-3 OT.

Johnson with one assist and even on the night.
Duchene with a two point night.
We will all type "Papappapapapappapapapappap" after he continues to play solid.

And if we lose? Hell, that's good too!

Why the hell would David Jones want us to lose 16 games? What a miserable drunk!

He wants Seth on the team. They're related, you know.

Then he (David) can bask in the glory of every fan cheering for a Jones! IT ALL MAKES SENSE!

Garrett says Duchene was wrong for his comments because he shouldn't be talking about the team, he should only be talking about his own performance and blaming himself because he played 24 minutes. Instead of saying "it's embarrassing", he wants Duchene to say "I was embarrassing".

It's still pregame and I already hit the mute button. That has to be a record for me.

This is why I hate on John Garrett, this guy is the biggest homer in the league and he is also the biggest dumbass in the league.

Garrett's an idiot. If anybody on our team has earned the right to call the team out, its Duchene. If there's one player on this team who bleeds burgundy (pardon the cliche), it's Duchene.

Flub? It wasn't a flub. Kroenke asked him to refer to ***** McNabb in order to distract viewers from the mediocrity that may have otherwise been pointed out during the post-game talk.

Landeskog maybe wearing the C but the real leaders on the team are quite obvious. I knew it was too soon to give the C to one of the young guys, should've just stuck with Hejduk for this year.

He specifically asked not to wear the C.
Although we could have rolled with 3 A's, I think management wanted to make their intentions clear that they intend Landeskog to stay for the long haul (Perhaps to avoid a situation like O'Reilly's where Landy feels more inclined to sign for less for the good of his team?

Whoops, brain fart. I'm not a fan of the 3 A's, they could've gave it to another vet. My first choice would've been the guy in Toronto, too bad.
