According to other reporters after I left Bartkowski scrum after practice he was asked again about who requested 1-way deal & said Boston.

Apparently Bartkowski misunderstood my question. My apologies to Twitter world.

They have only 10 mil to spend on 5 starting forwards, 1 depth forward and 1 depth defenseman...

Chia will look into Iginla, no doubt IMO.

Chiarelli should invite him in for a visit as a free agent and leave him waiting at the airport.

"Hi, Jarome? Ya, it's Pete. We had a change of heart."

in most cases with players with NTC/NMC's. When the player gives a "list", those are the teams he's willing to go to and it's up to the GM to send him to one of those teams. If he really just wanted to go to Pitt, he should have just had a list of 1 team. So yes, Feaster is an idiot, but the player/agent should have specified in the beginning, trade me to Pitt and not have the GM operate under the premise that any of those 3 teams are fine.

and yes, some of this is speculation on what happened between Feaster and Iginla

Or just wait a season and really give it to the Pens where it hurts. Make a big time offer for Malkin whose contract expires after next season.

Once again Peter Chiarelli confirmed that the First Round Draft Pick that Boston offered was NOT conditional.

I'd sign Iginla and then offer Malkin 7x10.

One would assume that if he had the Boston Bruins on his short-list of teams he'd waive his NTC to go to.. that he wanted to play for them.

Legally he did nothing wrong.. he can go wherever he wants. What he did is his right. But it was scummy.

Flames actually preferred the Bruins deal. It was Iginla who put his foot down and said he wanted to goto Pittsburgh.
Wasn't enough. If they blew Calgary away and Feaster went with a much lesser offer,he'd be fired.
