This poll is insulting to me as a Hawks fan. It isn't like Iginla in his prime. I guess if you think Kunitz really is as good as his points(aka top 5 player) then it makes sense. But it isn't really close in reality.

Iginla's play has been pretty poor this year.
But he's a shiny new toy.

Chicago. easy choice. Best wing plus + best two-way wing + a perennial 30 goal scorer

Hawks trio for sure

Should have one without Sid, Geno, Toews and Kane

Chicago because the question is skewed in their favor. Ask the same question about top 6 or 9 and the results will be just slightly different.

Neal over Hossa? Kunitz over Sharp?

Oh man, give those guys Pittsburgh's Centers. I dare you. Actually we saw Hossa play with the Penguins back in 08. Dominant Playoff run.

Chemistry should be considered as well. We have yet to see what Iginla does in that top six, while Chicago has insane chemistry and has for years.

Anyway, easily Chicago.

Kane > Hossa > Neal > Iginla > Sharp > Kunitz

That'd be just as lopsided. More even would be Sid/Geno & Neal vs. Toews & Kane.

In terms of all around offense and not just goal scoring, I'd put both Hossa and Iginla ahead of Neal on the above list. I'd also say he's equal to Kunitz because Kunitz does other things better than him (better passer, better skater, etc.).

Kane
Hossa
Iginla
Neal/Kunitz/Sharp

To be fair Iginla has always been a slow starter. In 2010-2011 early in the year people thought his play was declining and he went on to finish 3rd in goals behind Stamkos and Perry, and 6th in points.

Chicago easily, but where the Hawks also have Toews, the Penguins also have Crosby and Malkin. The Hawks have better wingers, no doubt. I don't know that anyone has a better top six than healthy Pittsburgh though.

Chicago AINEC. It's like asking, "who has better centres, Chicago or Pittsburgh?" There's an obvious answer.

Chicago for me, and quite easily. Why isn't Crosby in this since he'll be centering Iginla and Kunitz

Easily Chicago. I would take all three of the Blackhawks over Neal. He's an ******* and terrible at hockey. Same thing with Kunitz, except for the ******* thing. Iginla is the third best player, but it doesn't matter.

So you are basing it off this year yet you have Sharp (5G, 13A) over Kunitz (20G, 24A) and Iginla (9G, 13A)?

James Neal is terrible at hockey?? So a 40 goal point per game player just last year is terrible at hockey? Wow. HF boards...never fails..

Pens fan but def Chicago here. The hawks forward strength is in their wings outside of toews but the pens wingers are finally in the top couple in the league for the first time in a long time.

Pens top 6 is still the best in the league but obv that is mostly from Crosby and Malkin but Chicago takes it with wingers still.

Yep, hope we can trade some of the farm for a good 2C by the deadline.
