Yes, that's correct per NHL Network.

Henrik needs to be more open. Use derogatory, they deserve it.

The problem is that the time to make a move was a month ago. This season is lost.

Oh my god. I hope Fasth, MZA, Powe all are in the lineup against the Habs.

Hell throw Thomas, McIlrath, Mashinter and Bourque in there. Team needs a new identity and a new coach.

Funny thing is I did a "Value of Taylor Pyatt" thread on the Trade Rumors board and some guy offered Dan Clearly for him. Pyatt for a guy with 7 goals on the season and is an UFA at the end of the year.

Nash is a perennial 30 goal scorer, Gaborik is a perennial 40+ goal scorer, Richards won the conn smythe with 91 points, Callahan has scored 30, There is plenty of talent on this team to score goals with a competent coach.

I agree, we should. Even with that it wouldn't be enough though. Lack of skill.

Engrave the Senators in the list of teams that just own the Rangers.

I wonder how the Rangers feel about being owned like that.

Watching the Torts presser makes me think that he has come to terms with the fact that this team will not make the playoffs this year. It's just not our year.

Now on to Lundquist. When he says we have to better do you think he is inculding himself? Me thinks he thinks he is better than everyone else on this team. I'm really starting to hate this guy with a passion.

he'll get 4 shifts if he's lucky......Torts will WANT TO send him to CT, but since Zucc is on a 1-way contract, he'll ride the Pine or be a Healthy Scratch unfortunately

If I was Henrik, I'd let it be known to everyone in the locker room - If you aren't going to do your jobs don't expect me to do mine. Do what you are paid to do.

Honestly, I'd offer Pyatt for a firm handshake.

Folks, in the future, could we please keep the poll options to player names? We've had several complaints about it, it was always our policy in the past to keep these threads a little more formal than that. PM me with any complaints/concerns.

Thank you.

The only team that doesn't own the Rangers this year is the Flyers and Lightning

1. He is better than everyone else on this team.

2. He consistently shows that he's better than everyone else on this team, and has done so for years.

3. He works hard and makes huge saves every night, as one player, and the entire offense can't make one big play a game to save their lives and make all Hank's effort worthwhile. He has every right to think of himself as being more competent than them. He is. By a long shot.

He is absolutely correct then. He is by far the best player on this team and it isn't even remotely close. I don't understand how a Rangers fan can hate Henrik Lundqvist. He is clearly the only one who gives a **** for this team.

unfortunately....we can't play 48 games vs the Flyers and Lightning.

And yes, Ottawa, along with Typical Montreal and the Pens are teams that "Own" us

Hope you guys pick it up soon, had a good first round match up last year - Would be exciting to have that rematch.

Best of luck.
I don't know how that is even possible. Ottawa is more than likely going to be facing either Montreal or Boston.
