sorry to the Flames fans who were told they apparently gave up on Iginla and stopped supporting him. from what i've seen here, that's the opposite of what really happened (i mean, just look at the number of Flames fans with a #12 Flames Penguin avatar; that's support for Iginla if i ever did see it).
that's very possible at this point. the Canes tied it up from garbage bounces around their defensemen. plus, the Pens are in autopilot since the Buffalo game.
(granted, Malkin's line and Iginla's line were playing very well, but the whole team attitude seems to be "stay healthy for the playoffs and don't force the issue too much", and i don't blame them but still)
for the Flames' sake, i would be fine with letting the Canes have a point so the Pens can bury them in OT. then they pass the Flames.
