11 Day crucible

7 games in 11 days, starting tonight:

Sharks - today
Hawks - Wednesday
Wings - Friday
Wings - Sunday
Sharks - 3/25
Sharks - 3/27
Hawks - 3/29

We've had some nasty tests, (6 game road trip, 11 games in 17 days), but this'll be the worst. Unsustainable strength of schedule.

What do you say? How many wins? I say 4.

I'll go with three wins, but three of the losses are in OT.

If I did the math right there is only one back to back in there. Still tough but could have been worse. I'll predict 5 wins and somebody will get on the podium for the 3 stars of the week.

Sub game: how many combined goals will Etem and Fowler have at the end of those 7 games? I'll go with 4.

Etem is going to score tonight! Mark my words.

He is playing second line tonight

Etem - Holland - Ryan

Fixed it. I finally dropped Fowler from my fantasy team today, so he should light the lamp, tonight.

I think they can pull 4. San Jose has not played well. Detroit better, but is totally beatable (at least I hope. My first game of this season is gonna be this friday) Chicago is doable and the guys will be motivated to take down the best team.

Hm.. gonna be a rough stretch but its pretty rough for most teams right now. March hasn't really been kind to anyone, we're just a bit condensed than others.

I'll say we end up with 9 out of a possible 14 points.

I think perry returning will give a big boost, same with bones but in an obviously smaller capacity. I'll go with 4-2-1.

Anaheim is far from the only team with a tough schedule.

As a fan, it can be a really favorable schedule, but I feel for the players.

Poor babies. Getting paid millions of dollars to play 4 hockey games a week. I don't feel sorry for them. Besides it's theirs and their pathetic leaders (Fehr) fault that they're in this situation.

My personal preference would be a few more days off. Sure, you're seeing more hockey, but the quality drops. The players get tired, and it shows in the level of play.

11 days that will decide Corey Perrys fate as a Duck. These should be some fun games to watch.

Yeah...the thought was hanging in the back of my head after I posted.
