Great write-up, SS! Amazing work. Lots to read over the next few days. Also hilarious Crosby photo.

This is what we built our team for. It won't be easy.

Rask is out of his mind and sucks. He gets chased in at least 2 games. BOOK IT. Yeah I said "book it" cause I'm a raging *******.

Lets go Pens!

This is the hardest I've cheered for another team since watching hockey, probably. Happy it's the Penguins.

Called pens in five against Sens. Same for the Bruins, they go crabbing after five. Pens just hitting their stride. To paraphrase the Saxon leader in King Arthur, finally a team worth killing.

I've been thinking long and hard about this (twss)

Rask >>>> Vokoun + Fluery
Chara >>>>>>>>>> Letang
Julien >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Blylsma
Jacobs > Lemieux + Burkle
Bruins D >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Penguins D (heh heh D)
Bruins F >>>>>>> Penguins F
Bruins depth > Penguins depth (also top-10 depth in post-cap history)
Rene Rancourt >> Jeff Jimmerson

I think the Pens steal a game (game 4?) but the Bruins take this in 5. Still, a great improvement over the previous 2 years and could serve as a great springboard for the future.

I should start this by saying the Bruins are my team in the East. I was flustered when Iginla declined to go there but I'm cheering for you guys this year. The Bruins fans are letting their heads get far too big.

I think you're giving the Pens too much credit, but I appreciate your misguided optimism.

There should be an additional competition to see whose fans last longer before getting lightheaded and losing consciousness from continuous booing.

This is a series that can break the winner. The physical play is going to be through the roof. This is where depth hopefully wins you a series.

I'm interested to see who they boo more Iggy or Cooke, seems like they were more into booing Iggy in that regular season game which just boggles my mind.

Nah, he's got 2-3 more years before he retires most likely. That's three more years to declare how much he loves Mario and the Pens organization before ultimately signing elsewhere for more money.
