It means "a shot which almost beheaded the goaltender"

Besides, this Brian Collins guy, the "boom goes the dynamite" kid... look him up on Google - he's becoming a celebrity. Looks like even ESPN is interested in making fun of him by using him in a commercial. This kid's going to be a millionnaire soon.
Man, I love the states...

It has got to be John Motson during soccer commentry which was " Oh and he kicked the ball into the goal, and that is of course what he was trying to do ha ha "

But motty comes out with some stormers anyway but thought this one was quite funny.

Mario Tremblay commenting during the '93 playoffs "Le Canadien a fait un changement parce qu'il voulait faire un changement."

"The Habs made a change because they wanted to make a change".

The team made him coach not long after...

Rodger Brulotte is by far the coolest commentator in every sports, every language.

Bonsoir ELLE EST PARTI! He can go out and yell for like 30 straight seconds.

And he is probably what made Vlad so popular, really. VLADIMIR, VLADIMIR, VLADIMIRRR... ELLE EST PARTI! How many times have we heard that... I'm gonna miss the Expos

What I like the best about Rodger Brulotte is when he says «Bout d'St-Étole d'Arnold!!!!»

It has to be the ugliest 'swear' ever. Just too funny.

I love soccer commentators with such quotes as

'' OHHHHH what a Cracker ''

or the spanish guys :

''goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal''

or when Dunga, the Brazilien captain scored in shoot out :
''DUNGA DUNGA DUNGA DUNGA DUNGA GOAL!!!!!!''

and is it Dan O'toole who always adds ''Mac'' to everything he says???

That BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE was almost as good as RDS.. I mean, yeah, RDS's crew do comment things when there's a hockey game, but I don't have ANY interest in hearing about how Pierre didn't have any soap in his room in Buffalo this morning, compared to his last trip there when he had 2 soaps in his room!

I'm sick of him, talk about the game, the players, even the crowd, not about your personnal life or someone you met 30 years ago
