Btw, Parros got a nasty looking injury during that game.

Yeah I saw that. I hope he is okay. I still really like him as a person. As a role here, he wasn't enough. But he's a great guy at heart. Hope he will be fine.

Ya that was bad. I'll make one last attempt for Wednesday and say Philly, Detroit, Colorado

Another UVM Catamount has made an NHL roster - former team captain Kevan Miller is on the final 23-man roster of the Bruins for now.

Would be nice to have him on, oh...any other team...but still - always good to see a former Cat make the bigs.

i thought brennan handled himself adequately in the d zone and was well above average on the rush and in the offensive zone while he was here.

Lovin' it. They'll be stuck as a bubble team for awhile.

I don't think so, they look like a playoff calibre team on paper, and they've certainly played like it so far.

MacKinnon looked solid tonight, 2 beautiful assists, hopefully Barkov looks as confident tomorrow night.

That Colorado - Anaheim game got real crazy at the end. Lovejoy with the knee on knee to MacKinnon, which got Patrick Roy to get into an argument with Boudreau, while doing so Roy pushed the glass in between the benches, which almost fell over onto the Ducks side.

That's a bubble team. They're not a SC contender and it's way too early to even call them perennial playoff contenders.

Patrick Roy was doing a little remodeling in between benches when he was arguing with Boudreau, Colorado are looking feisty!

Roy is always feisty, if the team took after the coach it will give them a great attitude.

Are you not satisfied with Goc as your top line center lol. It's too bad Weiss was allowed to just walk right out the door.

I want to see what he can do. He's centering a line with two guys that can shoot. If he has decent vision, which I think he does, he shouldn't be terrible. Just not a star.

He's just keeping the chair warm for Barkov.

Yeah, the NHL should allow GMs to hold players at gunpoint.

Ohhhh I thought you were referring to this year. I don't think they are even close to a cup team, but for this and the next couple of years they should be a playoff team. Long term (like 5 years down the road) those contracts will bite them, but since when have the Leafs looked at the big picture?

That was freaking hilarious. Roy's going to have to learn to control his anger as there will be more situations with knee-on-knee hits as the season goes on. I'm waiting for someone to make a ROY SMASH!!! .gif somewhere.

They could be a playoff team for the next few years. I don't see them as that great. Boston, Detroit, and Ottawa just from our own division are perennially better teams, and the Panthers and Sabres are going to start rising to the top of the league soon. The Leafs are a solid team, but with them being in cap hell there's not much upside beyond where they are right now for the next 3-5 years. If they don't look at the big picture, that's good for us.

The avalanche looked good last night. I thought the redwings play okay. They let buffalo get back in the game though. And the flyers got plain beat in the 3rd. They played a good 40 mins.

And that coach reaction with Roy and Budreau was ridiculous. Unprofessional but I understand why he was upset. Knee on knee contact on McKinnon is not cool.

it isn't cool on any player imo, not just Mackinnon. Every player matters.
