Yeah, that was all on Erhoff. Terrible play. And man, were they killing Leino on the Leafs broadcast. Rightfully so, but you still have to feel bad for the way they were talking about him. Worst contract in the last 10 years.
Yup, probably is. Just happened to play with good players during their peak years when he got the deal.
Can't really fault the player anyway. If someone is willing to pay you who the hell would say no to a deal like that.
They hade also had 5 vs 3 for 1 min 20 sec in the first period, and during the 7 min 5 vs 3did two other Cannucks player got minors so it was actually a 9 min 5 vs 3 there, it was just with something like 7 min and 20 sec left to play. so in the end they almost had 8 min icetime with 2 man advantage.

#Coyotes have placed R.Klesla on waivers.
Yes i know we are pretty solide on blueline atm, but wouldnt mind him and try to trade Kulikov. Then when Olsen and petro returns we can scratch two out of Jovo, Petro, Weaver and Klesla.
I think DT should pick him up, you never know with injuries and suddenly we might be a few nhl-caliber d-men short.
Just scratch Rusty if he isn't good and keep him as a guy who can step in, in case of injuries.
I'll always be a fan of fighting. The line brawls are fun to me and I have no problem with them. Perhaps maybe we can have one someday.
I find it funny that Torts gets so mad. If you recall, he was also mad when the Devils/Rangers line brawl happened. Both times he was the home team and put out his tough guys in response to the visitor's starting lineup. But why not just throw out your top line instead where you should have the better match-up? I mean you try to get that kind of match-up during the game anyway. Just curious.
Btw, I know Torts is a clown and is more of an attention w***e than not.
Tortorella is just so endlessly entertaining. I don't know how he keeps getting hired. I understand he can bring some results, but the cost is often too great. It's like he just got real cocky after his Stanley Cup win and has become worse about it ever since. The Canucks do not mesh well with his style. In that division, with the way the California teams are playing, Vancouver is likely to miss the playoffs at this rate.
Samuelsson on waivers today. to be honest, he did a very good job on the PP for us and he is on an expiring contract. I wouldn't mind picking him up to be honest. MAybe we can swing a deal and get something from detroit of value as a thank you for the cap relief if he clears...?
26. You can see why the Panthers were excited about Scott Bjugstad, whose size helped him dominate at the University of Minnesota. There were questions about doing that against NHL players. He laughed and agreed he learned some lessons the hard way. "[Doug] Murray from Montreal," said Bjugstad with a smile, "I tried one of my college moves on him and he put me on my ass."
27. Jonathan Huberdeau had an interesting observation last week. Asked him about playing a regular 82-game schedule for the first time, and he pointed out, "This isn't going to be a regular 82-game schedule" because of the Olympic break. Therefore, anyone who was a rookie in 2012-13 won't understand a normal season until next year. Tough for players to evaluate themselves, and teams to evaluate them.
