****, more Voukun.

I already resigned myself to a loss here. I would be happy with a good effort, I would be ecstatic with a point.

Iginla watch, as I haven't seen anywhere if he's in the lineup or not. Also, Boulton maybe out for Reasoner. Nothing out on Isles lineup either.

I'll be listening to this game on the radio, I have to travel to DC to eat with family this weekend. This would be the biggest two points of the season IMHO, but with the penguins rolling like this, it's going to be hard to say the least.

Paul Martin is day to day with an "upper body injury". It's doubtful he'll play tomorrow, so the defense will likely consist of some combination of Orpik, Eaton, Murray, Niskanen, Despres and Engelland.

It's also unlikely that Iginla will play tomorrow as most sources (Twitter) are reporting the team would like to get him into a practice before he plays in a game. He also hasn't even made it to Pittsburgh yet (at least not that I've heard) so even if he arrives in the morning the jet lag alone will probably make the team wait.

Hard to see us winning this one but what a massive 2 points this could be.

That's nice, I figure Ignilia's first game might give the team a little extra motivation or jump in their step

I was waiting on this match to bet, but now I see it 60/40 for Pens. That is not what I expected.
Chances for at least one point are really high.

Probably going to be a loss, but getting at least a point out of this would be wonderful and important. With that being said, this is one of the games down the stretch that we can afford to lose, which is all more the reason that winning it would be huge. The boys just have to come out hard and play a full 60 minutes, plain and simple.

On Iginla here's what staple said in his article yesterday:

Quote:
Notes & quotes: The Isles carry a three-game winning streak into Saturday's meeting with the Penguins, who have a 14-game winning streak but might not have Jarome Iginla, their latest deadline acquisition, in the lineup because of visa issues. He will arrive in Pittsburgh Saturday, but likely not in time for the 1 p.m. game.

Maybe the Pens come into this game just a little too full of themselves and think it's going to be a cakewalk.

Martin has been so solid for them, not saying it tips the scales in our favor, but if he's out, ...

Any points from this game are gravy. I fully expect a loss, but hopefully Pittsburgh will oversleep...

Im going to miss todays game. The good news is the last Islanders/Penguins game I missed was the 2011 9-3 thrashing we gave them. So that means today will be a blood bath.

Islanders 9
Penguins 1

I'm sick and tired of hearing about what a great hockey team the Pens have. Screw em, this is our time. Go out and take the 2 points tonight!!!

I'm sure Capuano's telling his players the same thing he told the press, when discussing the upcoming game against Pittsbugh ...."If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. It will be a good challenge for us."

Let's go Islanders

One of the few games remaining that the isles can actually afford to lose. Nobody expects anything from this game so even a point would be nice
