Thanks for the GDT Truman!

We have to capitalize early. I'm expected a loss and lowering expectations so I'm not disappointed but this team has shown what they can do, if they give some of that effort they can beat anyone. Of course, they've also shown us so little at times. Hopefully the Isles of recent play today and get that win.

That and the Isles need to bump/check/put the Pens to the boards every chance they get.

I would love to see a win here but the Pens are playing the best hockey in the NHL right now. Should be interesting.

This would be nice, but I'm not sure if the Pens do that.

This is going to be a tough game. Pens are going to be energized with Iginla playing. I hope we can squeak it out, but I would be ecstatic with even a point today.

Lets go isles

Paul Martin is out 6 weeks.

Neal/Malkin/Iginla is the second line

maybe all the sudden jumbled lines will screw up the pens chemistry?

wishful thinking anyway.

2nd line in an NHL all star game. Right?

hahaha we're so ****ed.

Looking forward to the game anyway. Either we keep it close and its entertaining or the Pens blow us the **** out and its fun to watch Malkin Crosby Neil and Iggy.

As much as I hate the pens, watching those 4 would be something.

We cannot think like this and I hope the Islanders dont come out with this logic either. We need to be hungry and play hard.. I want to beat these punks!!!!

We beat them today and that makes some serious waves and rest assure the Devils will be terrified to play us on Tuesday cause they know we are gunning for the 6th seed

Staple is going to speak about the trade deadline at 1245 on the pre game. I'm gonna miss it so can someone post what he says? Thanks in advance...

As much as I hate to admit it .... I agree. Looking fwd to seeing how Iginla will do and what line he plays on. Maybe they'll play him with Sutter (the only Pen I like cuz of the bloodline )

Seeing Iginla is a jersey other than a Flames jersey is sad to look at. One of my all time favorite non-Islanders.

My guess:

"Well I think they're going to try and lock up some of their pending UFA's like Streit/Nabby/Boyes and while they might kick the tires on a few players I don't think they're willing to give up any young talent for a rental."

But yeah I'm watching and will post.

Today here at the D Rex dungeon, all the other teachers are giving me an early by a few days birthday party, so were going to cheer the Isles on, have coffee and my favorite chocolate coconut cake.
