Yes but shouldn't everyone expect Torts to make terrible moves considering they hate him so much? I just don't understand it. Nothing has happened this game that we didn't already expect.

This is just ridiculously untrue. It pretty much used to be an automatic goal when he was on a breakaway.

Can we do anything besides throw it behind the net?

Maybe he didn't think he had as much time, but he had a wide open left third of the net to shoot at.
yes, he did have an open net. Price didn't even have to move to make the "save".

for a team so reliant on playing along the boards and they're pretty damn terrible at playing along the boards...

If we gave Nash back and got Duby and Arty again this team would not be any better.
I understand, and honestly, i'm still 50/50 on the trade, like I said next season will be the deciding factor for me. I think we need to get players who fit this team's identity better, and hey, if we lost that identity along the way with Torts, It's ok, we can always rebuild when he's gone. (whenever that might be).

I just hope our next coach is a tactician, not a motivator. You need to have the best of all worlds as a coach, John's inability to adjust just doesn't help the team. So hopefully Nash thrives even more next season, and I do realize he's a PPG guy for us, I appreciate his offensive game, just wish he had the motivation to become the ultimate beast and start playing D, stop taking lazy minors, and to stop floating when things go wrong. He's still a beast.

Whether it's Biron or Lundqvist...they give up a goal and it's all on them. Not the fact the Rangers score the fewest goals in the entire league and don't play all that great in their own end either.

Goaltending is the least of the New York Rangers worries.

What passing, wow. Beautiful, NHL caliber passing. I don't think the Rangers will do that play ever in my lifetime

Well, Gaborik has been better, Richards has been good at times and the only person who's been consistently bad is Torts. What's there to talk about in a 2-0 game?

"Damn, we missed our chances"
"Shoulda gone blocker side on Price"
"Can't buy a goal"
"Zucc is great"
"Biron's 5 hole is bad"

We've said all of that. It'd be a hit and miss of a GTD if the biggest problem on this team isn't talked about.
