Adam McQuaid may be only a 3rd pair dman; however when he plays, those on the ice with him play bigger because they know he is there.

Right now the Bruins toughness seems to have vanished.

IF Chiarelli has no interest in re signing Horton, then move him for futures... I will always love Nasty Nate, but if he's not part of the future deal him now... Krejci is killing me lately too as is Lucic... Three guys on the same line who don't show up all the time is a problem. Peverley is a disappointment as well... Pretty much fact now that he is a product of other players...he is worth nowhere near his cap hit unless you plan on putting real NHL talent around him to give him room.

Team needs more scoring, speed and emotion. That's a lot. Chia is prolly sorry he made these guys so comfortable...don't worry Peter, they had us fooled too.

This. It is the one thing as a Bruins fan I absolutely will not tolerate.

The effort was not there today and hasn't been there for awhile now.

Time to start shortening your bench Claude.

Nope-I said about the only thing positive in this game was Rask making some good saves.

No praise for anyone.

But Pandolfo doesn't belong in the line up-he is not an NHL player anymore, and I would rather lose games giving our young prospects a chance to play than trotting out this guy game in and game out.

And you know what-a young guy from Providence may bring a little fire to this team-something the whole team seemed to lack today.

The team is playing awful hockey.

The team isn't skating well and they turn the puck over all the time.

They look lazy and disinterested.

They don't take advantage of opportunity-today they could have pulled ahead of the habs, instead they spotted the Habs two more points. Every single time the Bruins have had the chance to pull ahead of the Habs, the Bruins have lost.

I love the team and want them to do well, but right now this team looks complacent and doesn't seem to care if they lose games.

ugh. thanks. Looks like watching Stripes on VH1 was a better use of time. Good God what has my life come to?

Right now we are headed for 7th and a date with Montreal in round 1. If that doesn't scare you then you have no pulse. These guys are in a free fall and the only thing to turn it around is what Chia can do in the next few days with a trade. He has ato dump 2 roster guys to shake it up or it will be ole ole and go away in round 1.

Since Brickley mentioned it, firgued I would...When Bergeron is off you see that his linemates aren't great...Talented players both but both quite flawed. Marchand does not match up with big defense corps and Seguin is.....Seguin.
i thought he was god? i mean they pay him more than any other bruin foward..seriously he totally deserves it. he is samsonov 2.0. only diff is sammy at least won rookie of the year

Unless they're intentionally trying to get Philly closer to the 8th spot to face Pittsburgh that effort was disappointing.

The only way this could get any worse, is if you were locked up in a room that had Christopher Cross blasting 24/7.

In my opinion a lot of this can be linked back to the GMs refusal to add any scoring during the off-season. Has lost a couple major pieces from a championship team and hasn't replaced them with anything. Complacency is a very dangerous thing.

During the summer we heard how PC said he liked to have the abiliy to make changes mid-season, we are seeing how easy that is to pull off. His total lack of interest in adding scoring during the summer is killing the team right now.

And that means, no more third line getting as many minutes as the others. Those guys should be getting 4-5 minutes, a game....TOPS

Only untouchables on this current roster for me are Bergeron, Seguin and Hamilton. Rest of 'em can take a hike.

A fired up Claude Julien?

Dale, I don't think those words mean what you think they mean

He was about as fired up as Ben Stein

I would typically share my thought about the game but, to be quite honest, a Jays spring training game and the TFC-LA Galaxy game were both more exciting. Therefore, I barely paid attention to this flat, uninspired Bruins team. It has been a recurring theme all freaking year long.

The funniest thing about the Bruins is that, in years past, when people talked about the top teams in the league they would rarely be mentioned. This year, the Bruins are on everybody's list as a powerhouse. Ironically enough, this is the worst Bruins team I have seen in quite a few years.

Step one barring any trades.

Sit Horton; better yet tell the door knob to stay away from the rink.

Put Peverly with Seguin and Lucic.

Bring back up Spooner and have him settle in between Bergeron and Marchand.

Keep your 4th line together because they are actually keeping the chemistry working for them...probably because they work together.

Bring up McDermid and have him on the 3rd line to give him ice time. But the 3rd line all season has been crap so basically go with 3 lines.

Have the so called 3rd line scrap the ice during commercial breaks...

Don't know what the holdup there is. We can't/shouldn't want to re-sign him next year. He wouldn't be in my plans. Must not be that attractive to many teams out there.
