This might be the only option left for PC & Cam. Claude is not blameless, but he doesn't deserve this type of lame effort from the team. Lots of coaches have their tenure ended this way. The GM can't move or cut everyone, so the coach gets whacked.

All I keep freaking thinking about is slipping in the standings & having to play Montreal in the 1st round....I am too old for that **** again....

You don't think he could get paid in the KHL?

Now i see why people here kept on bringing up that Horton disappeared when he was a Florida Panther. Dude Nickname should be Ghost. He is a 30 goal scorer easily if he just goes to the dirty areas and hustles, but he wouldn't. He disappears more than casper the ghost.

Doubtful though.
There is nobody in NA with more job security than the PP coach. I think that has been demonstrated over the last couple of years.

I wonder what the chances are they were just conserving energy and come out flying in the 3rd.

He coached them to the cup less than 2 years ago. They're in a funk, but there's no need to overreact .

But really Horton is bloody awful and has been awful the last few games and is worse than awful tonight.

He should have his butt parked on the bench the rest of this game.

Shawn Thornton has played with more heart and effort tonight than Nathan Horton has.
Shawn has played with more heart than most of the team.

Could be. I haven't started paying attention to this game until now.

Claude with a fantastic move. Can't blow a lead in the 3rd if you don't have one. We will win this game!

They're so afraid of blowing more 3rd period leads they haven't even tried hard to score in the first 2 periods.

Final score 1-0 in a shootout after 10 shooters on each team. Both fanbases fall asleep long before then.

Glad to see clubs like the Stros, Jays and Orioles going back to their classic looks
