Doubt that McDonald goes anywhere, especially when the Ducks could face the Blues in first round. Washington is still in a playoff race so I can't see them giving up their number one center.

I just can't see Murray doing anything big.

He'll pick up an AHL 3rd liner for PL3, and nobody will have saw it coming.

Not good watching the top teams in the NHL pile on the depth, while Bob sits back and does nothing. This Ducks squad doesn't have enough depth for a cup run yet, certainly not after these teams are bulking their lineup.

Is Cammalleri still a center? If so what about either him or Hudler? Which one is the better all around player at this point? Cam is signed through next season at 6, Hudler has 3 years after this one at 4. I don't imagine either would be too costly?

I dont think Bob would make that kind of a commitment to Hudler, seeing as over that time period we have some serious decisions to make about where we are spending our money. Cammalleri is an option I didnt really think about though, would think hes a possibility if he still plays center.

Cammalleri's cap hit for next year would likely be tough to swallow. And I wouldn't want Hudler. Always thought that was a pretty bad signing at that price.

I'd love to get Colin Wilson on this team.

We were never realistically matching Pittsburgh, Boston or Vancouver in terms of trade investment at the deadline and coming out of it as a contender on their level. We'll see what happens. Do expect at least a bit of a tweak somewhere.

Although, Cammy is only signed through next season. The Cap hit isn't so bad if you think Selanne is retiring. Also I looked it up, FO% @ 53%, sadly he'd be our best faceoff guy.

Tons of people talked about bringing in Stastny, cap hits are really similar. Plus seeing as Calgary is rebuilding, Id bet they would keep some of the caphit if Murray was worried about being cap tight and wanted that included

Cammy seems like the perfect player to get Teemu going as well. He seems to have a game somewhat similar to Andy Mcdonald 5 years ago. WOuld give us great versatility down the middle.... Getz/Cammy/Koivu/Bonino/Steckel

They didn't hold onto any of Jay-Bo's, so I'm not sure that's something we can expect.

You can trade someone that's injured if the receiving team is informed about the injury prior to the trade.

I dont want to trade for Stastny, just saying people were interested in him at a similar cap hit to Cammalleri.

Cant count on it agreed, but Im sure it could be included if we gave an extra pick or something. Whether that would be worth it though is another debate.

I doubt we are looking into Stastny. He's always injured and he doesnt seem like a very impactfull player anymore. Also for whatever reason the the Avs don't seem to want to let him go. I think Ribiero and Cammy are what we should be looking at. I like that Cammy is signed another year after this so i'd be wiling to offer more for him.

I wonder what a Giordino and Cammy trade would cost? Would be expensive but IMO it would set us up as an elite team for a couple years.

Maybe 1st, Holland, Allen, Vats?

Yeah because GMs just love trading their good players to division rivals they hav to play two more times this week. Niewendyke wasn't about to do us any favors. Plus I'd rather have Holland in that spot. Roy is declining and I don't him as much of an upgrade.

I don't there's a realistic option out there whom will be beter than Holland or Bonino if he ever gets healthy. Over the summer this is an issue that needs to be addressed but there's no fire to put out right now.

I'm not sure I'd want Cammy playing centre.
