Bailey's Injury **He's back 4/1**

Hey guys,

I missed the game yesterday but I heard Bailey got injured. Is it bad or do you think he's going to be able to recover quickly? Any timetable of returning?

“I saw the hit,” Islanders coach Jack Capuano said. “I'm not going to comment on the hit. Fortunately, (Bailey) is OK.”

I think its fairly safe to speculate that it was a concussion or a potential concussion.

A potential concussion? In other words, nothing?

Right, but the trend now is to take extra precaution with head injuries. So if they thought a concussion was possible they wouldn't have let him back into the game.

Gotcha. He's playing well so I'm hoping it was nothing and he can be back for the Devils.

They'd take Jesse Joensuu off of IR. Anders Lee is expected to join the team this week as well, possibly after the roster expansion on Wednesday. Would be interesting if they'd throw either of them right into a top 6 role, but they would likely slide Grabner up to the 2nd line and have Lee/Joensuu on the 3rd line.

Anyway, hope Josh is good to go tomorrow. Sounds like he's OK.

Im excited to see what Anders Lee can do in the NHL. Isles need to catch lightning in a bottle for this final stretch of the season. I hope Lee can help our secondary scoring.

Although it's nice to dream Anders Lee is NOT going to be a huge scoring threat immediately. Instances like Kreider come along once in a blue moon and honestly I hope Lee improves rather than pulling a one hit wonder like Kreider.

Kreider hasn't been the same since his "welcome to the NHL" hit. That's expected for a young guy. He's not a one -hit wonder. Look no further than Okposo who hasn't been the same player since he got rocked.
