The next 3 games are must wins, if we can get win these games we'll create some separation between us and 9th. St.Louis is close, Edmonton is only 4 points back, the game against St.Louis this Sunday is going to be crucial.

Should be a win, this one. I'll go with 3-1 - Kronner pots a jammy PP goal, Dats and Flip with the other two. Phoenix ruins the SO with a late consolation goal.

Right because once again, Ken Holland did nothing to better his team.

Would be sweet to see Smith get his first Goal. He's due.

I do not think we have to win the next 3 games, I think we have to win 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5. I think we will go 7-5 rest of the way.
I think we have to settle down for 6/7/8 stop, that is the most probable where we will finish.

Considering this is coming up

Vs. St. Louis
Vs. San Jose
@ Chicago
@ Nashville
@ Calgary
@ Vancouver

It's important they beat teams like Phoenix (And Calgary in that road trip)

Wings need 55/56 points to make the playoffs, 57/58 for a shot at the 6th seed (the money seed). Need to pick up 2 against the crap on the schedule (PHX x2, COL, CAL and DAL). That's 10 points they can't afford to be without.

In all seriousness, I have no idea with this team anymore. We win games against top teams - or get blown the **** out-, we lose against bottom feeders. We have guys in for a period, then they're out for another month with injury. We play great rookies for a few games, then they're sent down even though they're producing. Guys get close to coming back, then have mysterious setbacks.

You can't really predict anything this season...

If Wings take 55 points(7-5-0) Blues need to go 8-5-1, Oilers need to go 8-4-0 and Jackets need to go 9-3-0 to tie. Wings and Blues have the tiebreaker currently. So Wings could need more to make the playoffs, but could also need less.

Whatever happens tonight, just watch out for Hanzal. That guy is the equivalent of Getzlaf for the Yotes. He always shows up against the Wings and shadows Datsyuk like **** on velcro (as the great Robin Williams would say)
