6'0 200 pounds, that's small by your logic

besides, the guy would be 8th in hits on the Habs this year

Reason being, we have our likely top 6 locked up next season. We have 2-3 guys really who could really push Weber down the depth chart in Tinordi and Beaulieu, and maybe even Pateryn. We could even add another D-Man as a UFA or at the trade deadline.

Weber is no longer Waiver exempt and would definitely be taken if we tried to assign him to Hamilton. Savard would give us another waiver exempt D-Man in our system giving us more flexibility.
Savard is a better defenseman than weber. It would take more than that to get him.

Put a package together to get both Glencross and Giordano from the Flames. These are the players that we need in the playoff.

But he fights, so he's a God, I guess.
I'd rather have Bournival, Dumont, and even ****ing Kyle Hagel (well maybe not) on the team than Rosehill.

Ottawa seems to be interested in Glencross http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=419580

This is one guy i would love on our team, maybe this means CGY is looking to trade him. I would rather get him then Clowe

White, Leblanc and our 2nd round pick

I'm sure he'll try to do whatever is best for the team, maybe Timmins already is planning to score big in the second round.

I hope Bergevin will get the same threatement as Gainey or Gauthier if he doesn't move. (Unjustified accusition of not being aggressif enough)

Why? If he doesn't move now, he'll obviously move during the summer.

He can do it all. Try watching him play instead of reading stats.

I would be shocked if the Flames trade Glencross. He's a cheap contract and gets great value for it. Fan favorite.

San Jose Sharks Ryane Clowe discusses trade rumors

SAN JOSE — Sharks veteran forward Ryane Clowe sounded like a man at peace Monday whether trade rumors swirling around him prove to be true or not.
With a no-trade clause in his contract, Clowe and his agent are part of the process as general manager Doug Wilson considers offers from nearly a dozen teams reportedly interested in signing Clowe, whose contract expires June 30. Multiple sources are reporting that a deal could happen as early as today.
"I'm aware of what's going on and anything happening with me has to go through me, so we'll see," Clowe said, declining to say whether he thought a deal would happen or not. "I don't want to give a percentage or anything. Would I be surprised? Probably not. I wouldn't be shocked.

Quote:

Several reports said Clowe and his agent, Kent Hughes, were interested in a trade-and-sign with a contract extension in place when Clowe arrives with his new team.
"If I go somewhere, I'm not going to sign unless I see potential, but it's definitely something I'd be open to," Clowe said. "On the other hand, if it had to come down somewhere as a rental it wold probably be to a team that's a top team looking at making a run. We'll see."

He would be replacing Diaz. I'd still like a bigger dman also in the mix. Gio would also be a great Markov replacement in a year.

Too bad we missed out on Rosehill. He would've given us some badly-needed strength in the press box.

Regehr has been my #1 target on D since day one for that trade deadline. Please Bergevin, make it happen!
