Everything is coming up too good for Don, I dunno what's in store for him vis a vis the affair. Meagan was banging hot last episode and so was her mother. Meow.

So hilarious to see her casually getting drunk and answering the phone while hearing her daughter and son-in-law banging away in the next room.

The two ad companies merging to become bigger actually made sense but I can imagine it causing some issues, when the loss of Vicks is made public to everyone. Cutler (Harry Hamlin) seems like an exact copy of Roger though.

Since it was May 17th on this episode at the end, the Bobby Kennedy assassination might not happen until two weeks from now.

Pretty good episode. A lot of unexpected twists, though they all made sense. I can't see the merger lasting though. Will be interesting to see though.

Meagan's mother's French accent is terrible.

Aside from that, that was a great episode. I generally find the episodes that focus more on the workplace are more interesting than the ones that focus on the home. I really like Mad Men, but one issue I have with the show is how detached the characters are from what's going on in the outside world. Aside from Joan's ex-husband, the Vietnam War has had very little impact on the story. Not one character has expressed fear of getting drafted or had to go off to war voluntarily. It seems like they're missing out on an opportunity there.

This season, I really thought there would be more focus on the Civil Rights movement, especially with the show introducing Dawn last season. Two episodes ago she had that scene in the diner with her friend, but during the last episode, which was centred around the assassination of MLK Jr., that major event pretty much only played out over the radio and on TV.

Don was creepy. And I liked how they showed all the subtle problems associated with the merge.

And it still has to be asked...WHO THE BLOODY HELL IS BOB BENSON? Sure, he was in this episode a lot more than he has been in previous ones this season, but we still don't know who he is.

My guess is that they wouldn't keep him hanging around without some plot turn coming involving him.

Well, as we suspected, this merger is far from a happy marriage so far. Lots of tension building, I don't think this lasts. Maybe everyone from Peggy's old firm goes after some time (except maybe those minor creative guys) and Peggy stays on board again with SCDP and that's how the last season plays out.

I wonder how much of a deal they're going to play on the Bobby Kennedy assassination next episode... that can't be all they devote to that.

Where the hell is Dawn? Hope she's okay

Loved the end of the episode how easy it was for the guy from Peggy's organization to just let his guys go. And Sterling firing Bert again was just amazing.

The last couple of episode have been amazing. Don is just ridiculous, didn't think it would work on a woman like Sylvia. Love the merger stuff.

And as always, who the **** is Bob?

I feel like he's some kind of mole. I don't know in what capacity but that's what I think he may be.

Yeah but how did he start out? Does he have an official position or does is he just hanging out kissing ass?

Good theories.

I lol'd:

4. He is Mad Men's Nikki and Paulo. Remember when Lost introduced these two characters well into the show's run inserting them in various scenarios only to give them one episode all their own where they end up buried alive with a bag of diamonds (spoiler alert)? That's what's going to happen with Bob. He's going to get one episode all about him and then hurl himself off the building and teach us all some stupid lesson.

That was a great episode. The ending was sudden, figured they were going to handle the Kennedy thing differently, or at least devote more time on it in the initial episode. Was handled quite well though.

I really liked how we are starting to see Don exposed more and more. The episode was like watching the movie Secretary all over again, but we get a major glimpse into his personality and views towards women. You could see his upbringing pretty clearly showing itself.

I love how some women are starting to stand up to him and not take his **** anymore. Peggy this episode and Joan last episode. Also, he is meeting a rival who might not be his match, but is willing to give him a run for his money. He says Don's mysterious, but it is unraveling more and more.

Sterling's firing of Bob Benson was ****ing hilarious. Best part of the episode.

Hopefully we see more of the doctor's wife and she isn't written out of the show completely because she is smokin'

First bold: fixed that for you. And yes, that firing was amazing. Sterling is my home boy.

That's because you've got no class, son. Lindsay Weir is hot.

Yeah, if you know her from 'Freaks and Geeks' it's already instilled in you that she is attractive, no changing that, ever.

She will forever be the army jacket wearing high school student.

I really thought the episode was going to end with the camera zooming in on Megan's gums and then a quick cut to Don cringing, lol.

So...that happened. That was one of the weirdest episodes I've seen in the show's history.
