With the rash of injuries I really hope some teams discredit Vancouver when it comes to the post-season (If they are healthy by then). Could make for a nice first round boost for the team if their opponent takes them too lightly.

If Jensen doesn't score tonight, I don't care about him anymore

If AV is just going to throw Jensen on the first line, how does he justify taking Kassian off the 1st when he was producing???

So this is just for poops and giggles:

Here is our injured lineup right now + top remaining guys from the AHL

Booth-Kesler-Raymond
Kassian-Malhotra-Weise
Pinozzotto-Archibald-Rodin
Mallet-Lain-Grenier

Ballard-Alberts (cause alberts has to have a head injury with the way he plays)
Connauton-Joslin
Andersson-Hutton

Eddie Lack
Joe Canata(sp)

I haven't the slightest clue how we're not running away with the league lead.

Fire AV.

Yeah, given the looks of those lines, I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that the fire AV thread will remain at the top of the page after tonights game.

Probably because Kassian drags down whatever line he's playing on. It's not a coincidence the Sedins started playing better as soon as Kassian got moved for Burr.

Also not a coincidence that Kassian hasn't scored a goal since.

Yep, and the Sedins are more successful with anyone but Kassian.

that's why Kassian was leading our team in goals with them

lol at "anyone" you mean Burrows who has played ample time with them before and is comfortable with them?

Kass was put there because Burr and the Sedins weren't doing jack ****. He got moved there and produced. His moving off the line still doesn't make sense, not only was the line producing they were actually protected for once.

Lol at "anyone" meaning anyone. The Sedins didn't look good at all. Kassian just didn't mesh well with them, even though he potted a few goals. And that was at the beginning of the season, when Kassian was actually putting out effort. Not floating around like a useless piece of crap that whiffs on open nets.

The Sedins had a slow start and Kassian started strong, we have not seen Kassian with the Sedins when the twins are at their best imo. Just because Kassian isn't lighting it up on the third line with AHL players and grinders doesn't mean that he is ****. He had some rough nights, but also had some really promising chemistry with Booth

But that's exactly what Kassian is

Except without the effort of a grinder of course.

Anyways, this is the GDT, not the Kassian thread.

Kassian as the potential to be a legitimate top 6 winger, and has the skill to do it. He is not some grinder

good to see alberts finally out but if he had to play either this game or the last one, it should've been this one with sj's bigger forwards

also pavement sucks

So why have the Sedins sucked so bad on the powerplay since last season and been invisible for most of this season then?

Pretty obvious if you ask me (as I've said all summer) and no, it's not just AV.

I'm concerned tonight may not go well. We appear back to using a winger at C despite having 4 C's dressed,
