That's the Elliott we've gotten used to. I'm sure Allen is already on is way up. Looks like Petro may have put that in.

"Blues have killed 16 of last 17"

Do the morons at FSM ever learn?

Probably his groin again. That just means we get Allen back and that makes us happy.

That's a curious conclusion to draw. Redden is gone at the end of the season, and Leopold probably is as well.

It's hard not to like the trade given the price we're paying. I'm extremely curious to hear what the budget numbers are going to be for next season.

Went down to make a save, and went down awkwardly. Looks like a groin injury, probably.

This is the second time we've been forced to play Elliott when we sent Allen down to avoid Waivers for someone. If he loses this one too, we may push hard for Luongo.

They did such good work on the PK, to let the goal in with 1 second left AFTER the save was made, is kind of disheartening.

I'm not sure if I'm happy with picking up Bouwmeester's salary. I hope that means that Blues' ownership is willing to spend to be competitive.

I should have been more clear. I meant he's going to be in the AHL for the rest of the year. I'm going to go crawl in a hole now...

If that is his third groin injury of the season, questions need to be asked about what is going on. He is either not warming up properly, which the team should have picked up on, or he isn't recovering fully.

We'll see what we have with Elliott now. Close game, if we can get a win here then that will do him the world of good.

Did Armstrong not say that Allen was down in the AHL for the season? This wasn't a roster limitation move and it wasn't planned he'd be back up on Wednesday. He'll be up tomorrow now though...

Yet another penalty caused by poor defence.

It will be interesting to see how Bouwmeester and Leopold help The Blues' defence. They'll have to play very well to even make the 8th position, so we can find out.

Just as long as those shots aren't at his five hole. The guy lets some weak goals in..as bad as Halak at his worst.

If we lose this loss is on Armstrong. He made the decision to go with s horrible backup.

I'd most likely blame it on the paid professional who is channeling his inner Khalil Greene and can't stop a beach ball.
