Not if it's an amateur tryout contract (ATO) with Hamilton.

Apparently he received a call for a tryout ... Maybe there is a clause in his contract that allow it ...

Amateur Tryout, same as they did with Carey Price and several others. Does not count as NHL contract.

Collberg's season is over in the big league. He can be loaned back down to the U20 team or go to Hamilton.

I'll have to start watching Dogs games again (until Lefebvre pisses me of by playing Hudon with Stortini)

That would be the final straw for me with Lefebvre. And I am sort of expecting it will happen.

Hudon should be playing with Leblanc. I think they'd do very well together.

Hudon's creativity would help Leblanc.

I'd pair Hudon with Kristo
Collberg with Leblanc.

Smart two-way skilled forward. Isn't that what Lefebvre qualifies to be a bottom-line player? Hudon is probably going to play with Stortini and Hagel.

This would make a good shutdown 2-way pair!

Too bad Sly is down there.

Who exactly did the Habs hire this season?

Scott Mellanby, Martin Lapointe, Rick Dudley, Donald Audette. Am I forgetting anyone?

good stuff, looking at the Sags last game summary, it seem only Hudon showed up on elimination night.

I like his game a lot more than Archambault.

For some reason I pictured you saying this out loud while giving a fist pump. Made me chuckle.

I've read on another thread that he'll be joining the bulldogs for the remaining of the season, I might be wrong though

That's what it sounds like is happening, he goes to Hamilton for the end of the season on a trial contract and goes back to Frolunda next year. It's possible the Habs can convince him to stay but I don't see the point in buying out his contract when he should be in a pretty good situation in Sweden next year.

Anyway I don't know if it's a done deal yet because last I checked Collberg was dealing with a small injury but the Swedish media is making it sound like it's official.

I like it a lot, it'd essentially like an end of the year version of training camp where Collberg will get to play with and hopefully bond with the other prospects and the organization can help evaluate what he needs to work with, while getting to actually play some North American pro hockey against real competition.

The only downside is of course, Lefebvre is where forwards go to die.
