Just because you can't score doesn't make you good defensively. He is terrible in all 3 zones.

Big win, now only 2 points back of the Devils

Winning ugly is a prerequisite for a successful team. I'll take it.

i always assumed they were horrible seats. first row in hockey is a lousy seat IMO. 10 rows up...that's good. 20 rows up...that's perfect.

The game where the Islanders outshot the Pens 35 to 27 and held them scoreless for 50 minutes. They played well against the Pens. A win would have been well deserved, as was the loss.

What game were you watching?

So for those that mentioned it, what is ailing JT? What's been said?

Great 1st
Ugly 2nd
Mediocre 3rd

Whatever, I'll take the 2 points and run. Get ready for the Jets tomorrow.

SOG tells so little about what actually goes on in a hockey game. Not going to talk about Pens game here though

Capuano says there will be "lineup changes" tomorrow. I'm guessing that means Lee for Reasoner and Poulin in net. Can't possibly mean breaking up that excellent first line.

A really bad case of LinematesSuckitis.

Yes I made the same joke in the Finley IR thread... it's time for bed.

Would rather had the Rangers lose but Winnipeg losing could end up helping us as well(we now have an advantage over them if we win our game in hand we have more points, Carolina holds that advantage over us even if they lose tonight which they are down 2-1)

I think I'm at the point where I'd like to see Moulson traded this summer.

They could probably get back that #2 center or top 4 Dman they desperately need, and frankly I think he's holding John Tavares back big time.

Carkner, I am guessing he felt the Devils weren't that physical a team so he could have a more finesse defense
