This is a gut check game.

Come out and play like you want it or start tanking for a guy to replace your unmotivated linemate.

I'm really excited to see Lee. I have no idea what to expect. Haven't really seen much of him. Too bad he is not playing tonight. Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow night maybe and even then he may only be used in a limited role. I say throw him on a line with Cizikas right off the bat to help get him going.

Have to take advantage, unlike what they did with the Penguins.

Today may be the biggest day in for us in a long time.

With Strome and Pedan coming to BPort and Lee joining us in NJ this might be the beginning of us turning the corner..finally! I know these are just prospects but it seems we are closer to the end of the rebuild then we have seen in a long time. Still work to be done but nobody can deny the fact that we have overachieved this season and even more help is coming in terms of our prospects.

This has been the biggest roller coaster team in a long time. The up's and down's this season alone have sent many of us from elation to stay off the ledge by the game. Also the fact we are finally over the "are we moving to Seattle,Kansas city or Quebec" is done and we now have a permanent home in Brooklyn.

I wanted to personally say that whatever happens (playoffs or not) this is turning out to be what finally looks like a step in the right direction.

Again many questions still, but personally the happiest I have been in a long time and wanted to share my appreciation.

I look forward to the days on the HOFB's where instead of talking about "do we have a shot at the playoffs this season" our talks can be more like "we are one of the best teams in the NHL".

Thanks Everyone
John

Heard Howie on WFAN whilst listening to the mets pregame. He wont be doing the Isles tonight but did bring up the must-winningness of the game and how big it was to sign Anders Lee...in a mets pregame. haha awesome.

Great job Truman.

Must win the game!!! no iffs ands or butts about it.

My fearless prediction:

Evgeni Tavares 4
non Kovalchuck's and aging Brodeur's 2

Ugh, it's going to be a long season. Only 2 of the 8 fielders today were on our roster opening day last year, and 1 of them missed pretty much the rest of the season after that. Not good...

Anyways, let's go Isles.

Let's put the Penguins game in the past and start a new winning streak.

Must win and lets hope for a Rags loss would be epic wish we dressed a tougher line up though not sure what this coach thinks. Should have dressed Boulton instead of Reasoner, i like Cizikas playing center instead.

Watch the game in HD on the Devils channel or watch the game in non HD on the Islanders channel. Decisions decisions.

Why can't they just make channel 81 on fios 581 in HD, pisses me off.

Even Butch has more common sense than Capuano, unbelievable. I don't know how the 1st line hasn't been changed yet, but lets hope they have a big game tonight cause we really need it.

He is playing the softest lineup available to him after the team won with the tough lineup in Philly and got bullied in Pitt with the in between lineup.

His solution is go softer and sit carkner who I think has been good
