If this team makes the playoffs it will be due to the sheer terribleness of most of the East, and for no other reason

How sad is it that its very clear zuccarello is the best playmaker on this team and this is only his second game...

It's only a matter of time before Zucc realizes it's not worth putting in any extra effort.

I haven't watched a full game in about a week and a half and they don't look any different than when I left. Maybe a bit worse.

Get Zuccarello on the first line.

i still think this team will be better sooner or later. later being next year. i just wonder...and it took me a while to get to this point...whether torts is the right guy now. maybe he could move into the front office. he's a good ranger. but he doesn't seem to have what it takes to get goals in the league these days. and i dont think it's a matter of skill. the rangers have proven scorers. it's something else.

Exactly right. If he was interested, Sather would have been on his fishing boat full time since 2005.

Everything we do is weak, and soft...Zuccarello had a great shift. I wish he was bigger, and we could clone his instincts/speed 4-5 more times.

Stepan taking the offensive zone faceoff. What a novel concept.

When was the last game we had a fight? We barely ever fight, anymore. We barely do anything, really.

Great period, guys. UGH

Oh man. Same. Who would've thought too?

He's approaching Tom Poti territory for me personally.

I guess it's all really just semantics. I have trouble asking for anything more from Hank when we have only lost two games he has started in where we've scored 3 goals.

Zuccarello makes like 3 amazing passes per shift, and 90% of them the receiving player just looks confused and inattentive as the puck whizzes by them.
