Maybe the 1st will be our bad period tonight. I don't think MT will be too pleased with the effort in the 1st. We skated well, had a few chances, but we need to have a cleaner cycle and focus on smart plays.
As I've said before Nathan Beaulieu's defensive game is underappreciated. Fact is he's pretty damn good in his own zone and when he's ready to make it full time in the NHL he's going to be a beast. It's annoying when people think that just because someone is an offensive d-man that he can't be good defensively too.
