Always get nervous with games like this, miss enough golden opportunities and you just know it's going to come back and bite you.

I wouldn't have paid so much. I think if we keep all our pieces and draft a bunch of forwards we'll have a great prospect pool in two years.

Desharnais has 3 or 4 shots in the first 25 minutes. He must have been reading this forum over Easter.

Probably cried a little and the Easter Bunny cheered him up with some chocolate, hence the good game tonight.

Did Price just poke the puck away from that cane forward with one hand on his stick?

He's playing good hockey and getting into good places. His hands are shot though. I still think he's playing like he's scared of getting injured, he looks castrated out there.

By the way, can Beaulieu be Shattenkirk to PK's Pietrangelo? Damn, this kid's good.
Sure, the great thing is that they're not both righties.

Different scenario though...Iginla basically got to pick his destination and the Flames accomodated him. I mocked the return on first blush but I sort of understand more now how tied Feaster's hands were.

Personally, I would have done two 2nds for Regehr, especially since we still have one in the bank. Whether or not Regehr would have waived to come here (or if the Sabres would even want to trade him here) is another subject, though...

Carolina announcers are surprisingly good.

For those of you who complain about our 4th line, Halpern mentioned that he's getting much more opportunities here than he did for the Rangers. Therrien to his credit is giving big minutes to all four of his lines. That's why you play real hockey players and not goons most night.
