I ****in know that he won't be coming here to steal his job. My point is people need to stop *****ing, because whether we get him or not we still have solid goaltending. You're explosion post on this whole situation is a great example of someone looking for attention and just losing perspective on this whole thing. Kipper or no Kipper, who the **** cares. Reimer is getting the playoff time anyway if we make it.

Temper. Temper. Kipper is better than Reimer. I would play Kipper if you, you know, actually wanna win a playoff series.

Stempniak? No Thank You. That is a negative to the deal.

This sounds a lot like a Kansas City Shuffle to me.

I think Nonis is trying to get the price down on Luongo, by making it look like he is going after Kipper... but that could just be the black helicopters circling my house.

MacWilliam is a very solid d-man and will be a good pro in the near future. I don't think he will be traded.

I see a single pick heading over to Calgary: like a third or fourth rounder IMO.

Kipper for Cliff Fletcher

It'll take Fletch a couple of weeks before he realizes he's in Calgary again...

In this market and with that contract a 4th would be fair.

Kipper for a limited edition Toblerone bar. Feaster would eat it up.

If Nonis did talk to Kipper's agent, and then Kipper but still no deal, I am going to assume Kipper said no to the leafs. The fact that Nonis was granted permission tells me that Feaster and he agreed on the cost, but Kipper nixed it.

Lirl.

To Toronto: Kipper
To Calgary: Conditional 2013 5th

Calgary is guaranteed the 5th and for every round we win the pick moves up a round.

make it a conditional 11th and for every round we win that moves up a round. That way if we win the cup Calgary gets an actual pick. Otherwise they don't.

I don't get why people want Kipper so much. It's just gonna give the fans incentive to turn on Reimer his first bad game of the playoffs.

I personally don't know why Toronto's even looking for a goalie. Reimer's decent and Scrivens could get better...I don't see why they wouldn't just wait for a better opportunity to grab a starter. Luongo is old, Kipper is older.

Acquiring a 36 year old goalie who is oft-injured and declining seems stupid, especially if you're giving up more than a 3rd round pick. Honestly don't watch Calgary. Is the team's defensive efforts to blame for those horrible numbers?

Not to mention he apparently needs some serious convincing to even be traded.
